मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने राज्य में शीतकालीन पर्यटन को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से स्नो लेपर्ड साइटिंग, हेली-स्कीइंग तथा हिमालयन कार रैली को तत्काल प्रारंभ करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि शीतकालीन यात्रा उत्तराखंड की अर्थव्यवस्था के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है और इसे राष्ट्रीय व अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पहचान दिलाने के लिए ठोस कदम उठाए जाएं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने आगामी 20 दिसंबर तक शीतकालीन यात्रा के दृष्टिगत केएमवीएन और जीएमवीएन की सभी व्यवस्थाओं व सुविधाओं को दुरुस्त करने तथा होटल मालिकों के साथ बैठक आयोजित करने के निर्देश दिए। साथ ही सभी जिलाधिकारियों को स्पष्ट निर्देश दिए कि जिलों के प्रमुख पर्यटक स्थलों से संबंधित सड़कें, होटल एवं अन्य बुनियादी सुविधाएं पूरी तरह से तैयार रहें। मुख्यमंत्री स्वयं सड़क मार्ग से यात्रा कर व्यवस्थाओं का स्थलीय निरीक्षण करेंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री ने शीतकालीन यात्रा से जुड़े विभिन्न हितधारकों के साथ दिल्ली में एक महत्वपूर्ण बैठक आयोजित करने के निर्देश भी दिए, ताकि पर्यटन को नई ऊंचाइयों तक पहुंचाया जा सके।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री धामी ने “वन डिस्ट्रिक्ट–वन फेस्टिवल” के तहत राज्य के प्रत्येक जनपद में एक-एक भव्य महोत्सव आयोजित करने के निर्देश दिए, जो उस जनपद की विशिष्ट पहचान बने। उन्होंने कहा कि इन महोत्सवों में संबंधित जनपद के विशिष्ट व्यक्तियों, प्रवासियों, ग्राम प्रधानों से लेकर वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों तक की सहभागिता सुनिश्चित की जाए। साथ ही राज्य स्तर पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर के भव्य महोत्सव के आयोजन के निर्देश दिए, जिसमें देश-विदेश से विशिष्ट व्यक्तियों और प्रवासियों को आमंत्रित किया जाएगा।
शनिवार देर रात्रि मुख्यमंत्री आवास में आयोजित समीक्षा बैठक में मुख्यमंत्री ने बागेश्वर में सरयू कॉरिडोर के विकास तथा गंगोत्री की तर्ज पर सरयू नदी के उद्गम स्थल पर धार्मिक एवं आध्यात्मिक स्थल विकसित करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने बागेश्वर में ट्राउट मछली, कीवी और लाल चावल के उत्पादन की संभावनाओं को देखते हुए इनके प्रोत्साहन के लिए गंभीरता से कार्य करने को कहा।
मुख्यमंत्री ने राज्य सरकार, निजी संस्थानों, सामाजिक एवं धार्मिक संगठनों के संयुक्त प्रयास से अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर का योग महोत्सव आयोजित करने के निर्देश भी दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि पर्यटन स्थलों के विकास की योजनाओं में पर्यटकों, टूर ऑपरेटर्स, होटल व्यवसायियों और अन्य हितधारकों के फीडबैक को शामिल किया जाए।
इसके अलावा मुख्यमंत्री ने पौड़ी के पैठाणी स्थित राहु मंदिर और लाखामंडल मंदिर के सौंदर्यीकरण की कार्ययोजना को शीघ्र धरातल पर उतारने के निर्देश दिए। देवप्रयाग सहित राज्य के सभी प्रमुख प्रयागों और घाटों में भव्य आरती आयोजित करने तथा नए घाटों के विकास पर भी जोर दिया।
बैठक में प्रमुख सचिव श्री आर. के. सुधांशु, श्री पंकज कुमार पांडे, श्री शैलेश बगौली, श्री सचिन कुर्वे, श्री धीराज गर्ब्याल, अपर सचिव श्री बंशीधर तिवारी सहित विभिन्न विभागों के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे, जबकि सभी जिलों के जिलाधिकारी वर्चुअल माध्यम से जुड़े रहे।
