देहरादून : प्रदेश की धामी सरकार ने बेरोजगार युवाओं को पुलिस विभाग में भर्ती के दरवाजे खोल दिए हैं। शासन ने सिपाहियों के 1521 और दरोगाओं के 197 पदों पर भर्ती की अनुमति दे दी है। इस सम्बंध में उत्तराखंड अधीनस्थ सेवा चयन आयोग अतिशीघ्र उत्तराखंड पुलिस भर्ती विज्ञप्ति जारी करने के आदेश दिए गए हैं।
बीते 4 जुलाई को मुख्यमंत्री का पदभार संभालते ही पुष्कार सिंह धामी ने कहा था कि युवाओं को रोजगार के अवसर उपलब्ध कराना उनकी पहली प्राथमिकता है। सरकारी नौकरी के साथ स्वरोजागर मुहैया करवाकर ही पहाड़ी क्षेत्र से हो रहे पलायन को रोका जा सकता है। उन्होंने तुरंत विभिन्न सरकारी विभागों में रिक्त पड़े लगभग 24000 पदों पर नियुक्ति शुरू करने के निर्देश दिए थे। इसके बाद अधिकांश विभागों ने अपने यहां रिक्त पदों के सापेक्ष भर्ती प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। अब पुलिस विभाग के रिक्त पदों पर भर्ती के आदेश जारी किए गए हैं। सचिव डा. रंजीत कुमार सिन्हा की ओर से जारी आदेश में कहा गया है कि उत्तराखण्ड पुलिस के 1521 आरक्षी पदों और 197 उपनिरीक्षक पदों पर भर्ती का निर्णय शासन ने लिया है। उत्तराखंड अधीनस्थ सेवा चयन आयोग को इन पदों की भर्ती परीक्षा की विज्ञप्ति जारी करने और परीक्षा कार्यक्रम जारी करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। बताते चलें कि हाल ही में मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने ‘देवभूमि बेरोजगार मंच’ के तहत रोजगार के लिए प्रदर्शन कर रहे युवाओं को आश्वासन दिया था कि अतिशीघ्र पुलिस विभाग में भर्ती की प्रक्रिया शुरू की जाएगी। बीते 17 दिसंबर को बेरोजगार युवाओं ने मुख्यमंत्री आवास कूच किया था। इस दौरान अधिकारियों के जरिए हुए वार्ता में मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी दो दिन के भीतर पुलिस भर्ती प्रक्रिया शुरू करने का आश्वासन दिया था, जो आज पूरा हो चुका है।
