उत्तराखंड की रजत जयंती के समारोह की लंबी श्रृंखला के सफल आयोजन के लिए मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की मेहनत रंग लाई। मुख्यमंत्री का आत्मविश्वास और कद, दोनों ने उछाल भरी है। धामी के सामने अगली चुनौती वर्ष 2027 के विधानसभा चुनाव की है।
इस महासमर से पहले राज्य मंत्रिमंडल के विस्तार की कसरत को अंजाम तक पहुंचने का इंतजार है। बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव परिणाम के बाद धामी मंत्रिमंडल का विस्तार इसी माह के दूसरे पखवाड़े में होने अब तकरीबन तय माना जा रहा है। धामी मंत्रिमंडल में वर्तमान में पांच सीट रिक्त हैं। मंत्रिमंडल की कुल 12 में से सात सीट भरी हैं।
रिक्त सीट को भरने के लिए लंबे समय से कसरत चल रही है। अगले विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले मंत्रिमंडल में विस्तार और फेरबदल को महत्वपूर्ण माना जा रहा है। ऐसे में भाजपा हाईकमान के स्तर से यह निर्णय बार-बार टलता रहा तो इसका प्रमुख कारण पार्टी की प्राथमिकताएं रहा।
मानसून काल में आपदा की चुनौती से निपटने में मुख्यमंत्री धामी और उनके मंत्रिमंडल का जोर रहा। इस बीच, पंचायत चुनाव में भी सरकार और सत्ताधारी दल का समन्वय रंग लाया। मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने इस पूरी मुहिम में अपने नेतृत्व का लोहा मनवाया। यही नहीं, इस बीच पार्टी ने बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव में बतौर स्टार प्रचारक जिम्मेदारी सौंपी।
इससे निपटते ही उत्तराखंड राज्य स्थापना की रजत जयंती उत्सव श्रृंखला प्रारंभ हो गई। प्रदेश सरकार ने इस कार्यक्रम में सभी की भागीदारी सुनिश्चित की। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने राज्य स्थापना समारोह में प्रदेश सरकार के कड़े निर्णयों की सराहना कर मुख्यमंत्री धामी के हाथों को ताकत देने का काम किया है। अब बारी मंत्रिमंडल विस्तार की है।
माना जा रहा है कि मंत्रिमंडल विस्तार को बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव परिणाम यानी 14 नवंबर के बाद ही होगा। अगले माह दिसंबर में संसद सत्र आहूत किया गया है। ऐसे में चालू माह के अंतिम सप्ताह तक मंत्रिमंडल का विस्तार होने की संभावना व्यक्त की जा रही है। प्रदेश भाजपा अध्यक्ष एवं राज्यसभा सदस्य महेंद्र भट्ट ने कहा कि मंत्रिमंडल इस माह के दूसरे पखवाड़े में होने की संभावना है।
