मुख्य सचिव श्री आनन्द बर्द्धन ने बुधवार को देहरादून जनपद में कौशल विकास एवं सेवायोजन विभाग के अंतर्गत संचालित स्किल हब सहसपुर का दौरा किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस में संचालित विभिन्न पाठ्यक्रमों की विस्तृत जानकारी ली और प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर रहे छात्र-छात्राओं से संवाद किया।
मुख्य सचिव ने निर्देश दिए कि प्रदेश के सभी औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों (आईटीआई) के छात्र-छात्राओं को सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस का भ्रमण कराया जाए। उन्होंने क्षमता से कम संख्या में प्रशिक्षणार्थियों के नामांकन पर नाराजगी व्यक्त करते हुए एक माह के भीतर सेंटर की पूर्ण क्षमता के उपयोग के निर्देश दिए।
उन्होंने कहा कि सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस में संचालित उन्नत पाठ्यक्रमों को आईटीआई के नियमित पाठ्यक्रम में शामिल किया जाना चाहिए। साथ ही विदेशी भाषा प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों के अंतर्गत संबंधित देशों के लिविंग और वर्किंग कल्चर की जानकारी भी प्रशिक्षणार्थियों को उपलब्ध कराई जाए, जिससे उन्हें विदेश में रोजगार प्राप्त करने में सुविधा हो।
मुख्य सचिव ने प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर रहे छात्र-छात्राओं से उनके अनुभव और भविष्य की योजनाओं पर चर्चा की तथा उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की।
इस अवसर पर निदेशक कौशल विकास एवं सेवायोजन श्री संजय कुमार ने बताया कि स्किल हब सहसपुर में राज्य के युवाओं और आईटीआई उत्तीर्ण प्रशिक्षणार्थियों को रोजगार से जोड़ने के उद्देश्य से उच्च स्तरीय तकनीकी एवं विदेशी भाषा प्रशिक्षण दिया जा रहा है, जिससे उन्हें देश-विदेश में रोजगार के अवसर प्राप्त हो सकें।
निरीक्षण के दौरान जिलाधिकारी देहरादून श्री सविन बंसल, संयुक्त निदेशक श्री अनिल सिंह सहित अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी भी उपस्थित रहे।
