मुख्य सचिव आनन्द बर्द्धन ने बुधवार को देहरादून जनपद में कौशल विकास एवं सेवायोजन विभाग के अंतर्गत संचालित स्किल हब सहसपुर का दौरा किया। इस अवसर पर मुख्य सचिव ने सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस में चलाए जा रहे पाठ्यक्रमों की विस्तार से जानकारी ली और प्रशिक्षण पा रहे छात्र-छात्राओं से बातचीत की।
मुख्य सचिव ने निर्देश दिए कि सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस में प्रदेश के सभी औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों के छात्र छात्राओं को भ्रमण कराया जाए। क्षमता से कम छात्रों के प्रशिक्षण पर नाराजगी व्यक्त करते हुए मुख्य सचिव ने निर्देश दिए कि एक माह में सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस की पूर्ण क्षमता का उपयोग किया जाए।
मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस में संचालित कोर्स को औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों में संचालित पाठ्यक्रम में शामिल किया जाए। निर्देश दिए कि विदेशी भाषा प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों के साथ ही सम्बन्धित देश के लिविंग और वर्किंग कल्चर की जानकारी भी प्रशिक्षुओं को उपलब्ध कराई जाए।
मुख्य सचिव ने सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस में प्रशिक्षण पा रहे छात्र-छात्राओं से बातचीत कर उनके अनुभवों और भावी योजनाओं पर चर्चा कर उनके उज्जवल भविष्य की कामना की।
निदेशक कौशल विकास एवं सेवायोजन संजय कुमार ने बताया कि स्किल हब सहसपुर में राज्य के युवाओं और आईटीआई उत्तीर्ण प्रशिक्षणार्थियों को रोजगार से जोड़ने के उद्देश्य से उच्च स्तर का तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण दिया जा रहा है। साथ ही आवश्यक विदेशी भाषा का प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करते हुए विदेश में रोजगार के अवसर उपलब्ध कराए जा रहे हैं।
इस अवसर पर जिलाधिकारी देहरादून सविन बंसल, संयुक्त निदेशक अनिल सिंह सहित अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
