राज्य में बढ़ते मानव-वन्यजीव संघर्ष की घटनाओं पर प्रभावी रोक लगाने के उद्देश्य से राज्य आपदा प्रतिवादन कोष (SDRF) से ₹11 करोड़ की धनराशि स्वीकृत की गई है। इस राशि का उपयोग वन क्षेत्रों से सटे ग्रामीण एवं संवेदनशील इलाकों में मानव-वन्यजीव संघर्ष को कम करने हेतु विभिन्न रोकथाम एवं सुरक्षा उपायों को लागू करने में किया जाएगा।
सरकार द्वारा स्वीकृत इस बजट से सोलर फेंसिंग, हाई मास्ट लाइट, वॉच टावर, ट्रेंच निर्माण, अलर्ट सिस्टम तथा अन्य तकनीकी उपायों को मजबूत किया जाएगा, जिससे जंगली जानवरों की आबादी वाले क्षेत्रों में मानव जीवन, फसलों और संपत्ति को होने वाले नुकसान को रोका जा सके।
वन विभाग एवं जिला प्रशासन के समन्वय से इन योजनाओं को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर उन क्षेत्रों में लागू किया जाएगा, जहां मानव-वन्यजीव संघर्ष की घटनाएं लगातार सामने आ रही हैं। इसके साथ ही स्थानीय स्तर पर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम भी चलाए जाएंगे, ताकि ग्रामीणों को सुरक्षित व्यवहार एवं आपात स्थिति से निपटने की जानकारी मिल सके।
राज्य सरकार ने स्पष्ट किया है कि मानव जीवन की सुरक्षा सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है और वन्यजीव संरक्षण के साथ संतुलन बनाते हुए संघर्ष को न्यूनतम करना सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता है। SDRF से स्वीकृत यह धनराशि इस दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम मानी जा रही है।
