मसूरी : मसूरी स्पोर्टस एसोसिएशन द्वारा आयोजित मेजर ध्यानचंद स्मृति हॉकी प्रतियोगिता में के सीनियर वर्ग में भरोसा फाउंडेशन गुड़गांव ने कोहिनूर हॉकी पीलीभीत को 5-2 से हराकर ट्राफी कब्जाई, वहीं सीनियर महिला में अभिनव हॉकी अकादमी प्रयागराज उत्तर प्रदेश ने गुरू हॉकी यमुनानगर हरियाणा को सडेन डेथ मेे एक गोल से हराकर ट्राफी कब्जाई। इसी के साथ ही जूनियर बालक में नागपुर मध्यप्रदेश ने सेल्यूट हॉकी सोनीपत हरियाणा को 2-1 से हराकर व सब जूनियर में एमपीएस ए ने एमपीएस बी को हरा कर ट्राफी कब्जाई।
मसूरी पब्लिक स्कूल के मैदान में आयोजित 23वीं ध्यान चंद हॉकी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। इस मौके पर बतौर मुख्य अतिथि प्रदेश के कबीना मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने खिलाड़ियों को पुरूस्कार वितरित करने के बाद अपने संबोधन में खिलाडियों को खेल दिवस की बधाई दी व कहा कि मसूरी में मैदान न होने के बाद भी यहां से प्रतिभाएं लगातार आगे बढ़ रही हैं। उन्होंने मसूरी स्पोर्टस एसोसिएशन का विशेष धन्यवाद किया कि उन्होंने नेशनल स्तर की सफल हॉकी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि मसूरी का खेलों का इतिहास स्वर्णिम रहा है और अगले साल और अधिक बड़े स्तर पर इस प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया जायेगा।
इस अवसर पर भाजपा मंडल मोहन पेटवाल, अरविंद सेमवाल, नंद लाल सोनकर, सतीश ढौडियाल, राजेश गुप्ता, मसूरी स्पोर्टस एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष सूरत सिंह रावत, सचिव सौरभ सोनकर, रफीक अहमद, सुरेश गोयल, बीएस नेगी, जगबीर भंडारी, रूपचंद गुरूजी, डा. इमरान, बिजेंद्र पुंडीर, सहित बड़ी संख्या में खेल प्रेमी मौजूद रहे।
