शनिवार को मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मुख्यमंत्री आवास में हिमालयन सेंटर द्वारा तैयार किये गये पहाड़ी गमछे का लोकार्पण किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि ब्रह्मकमल टोपी के बाद पहाड़ी गमछा भी राज्य की पहचान बनेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि स्थानीय परिवेश और शैली के साथ समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत को पहचान बनाने के प्रयासों से राज्य को भी पहचान मिलती है।
इस अवसर पर हिमालयन सेंटर के संस्थापक एवं सीईओ समीर शुक्ला ने मुख्यमंत्री का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि उनका प्रयास विभिन्न प्रांतों की भांति उत्तराखण्ड के अंगवस्त्रों को भी पहचान दिलाना है।
