देहरादून : कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी कोरोना संक्रमण से बचाव तथा उपचार की तैयारीयों क़ो पुख्ता करने में जुटे हैं। इस क्रम में उन्होंने आज देहरादून छावनी परिषद के नवनिर्मित अस्पताल का निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उनके साथ गढ़ी कैंट छावनी परिषद की सीईओ तनु जैन भी मौजूद रही।
निरीक्षण के दौरान गणेश जोशी द्वारा अस्पताल के जनरल तथा आईसीयु वार्ड एवं आधुनिक चिकित्सा मशीनों का भी निरीक्षण किया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि विगत वर्ष कोविड उपचार व्यवस्थाओं क़ो सुदृढ़ करने के क्रम में उनके द्वारा इस छावनी परिषद अस्पताल क़ो उच्चीकृत करवाया गया। वर्तमान में यह अस्पताल 10 आईसीयू बेड के साथ ही 100 ऑक्सीजन युक्त बेड के साथ कोविड उपचार सेवाओं के लिए उपलब्ध हैं। उन्होंने संक्रमण की संभावित तीसरी लहर के मद्देनजर उठाये गए कदमों के प्रति संतोष प्रकट किया गया।
उन्होंने कहा कि कोविड की पहली और फिर दूसरी लहर की भयावहता को देखते हुए छावनी परिषद के अस्पताल को कोविड के लिहाज से तैयार करने का पूर्व में निर्णय लिया गया था। अब संतुष्टि है कि यह अस्पताल आधुनिक सुविधाओं से लैस होकर मरीजों की सेवा के लिए तैयार है। उन्होंने उम्मीद व्यक्त की, कि 100 बेड का यह अस्पताल क्षेत्र में स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की दृष्टि से मील का पत्थर साबित होगा।
