हरिद्वार के गुरुकुल कांगड़ी हेलिपैड पर आज किसानों ने मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी का गर्मजोशी और उत्साह के साथ स्वागत किया। किसानों, जनप्रतिनिधियों और स्थानीय अधिकारियों ने फूलों की माला पहनाकर, पुष्पवर्षा कर तथा गन्ना भेंट कर मुख्यमंत्री का अभिनंदन किया। उपस्थित किसानों ने सम्मानस्वरूप उन्हें “किसान पुत्र” की उपाधि भी प्रदान की।

किसान हितों के प्रति सरकार प्रतिबद्ध: मुख्यमंत्री

मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने किसानों और जनप्रतिनिधियों के सम्मान के प्रति आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि राज्य सरकार किसानों के हितों को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देती है। उन्होंने कहा कि किसानों की आय बढ़ाने और फसलों के उचित मूल्य को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए लगातार प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।

उन्होंने बताया कि किसानों की मांगों को ध्यान में रखते हुए गन्ने का समर्थन मूल्य ₹405 प्रति क्विंटल तय किया गया है, जो पिछले वर्ष की तुलना में ₹30 अधिक है और राज्य के लिए एक ऐतिहासिक निर्णय है।

समय पर भुगतान सुनिश्चित करने पर जोर

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार की प्राथमिकता है कि प्रदेश की चीनी मिलें किसानों को समय पर भुगतान करें। जहाँ भी भुगतान में देरी या किसी प्रकार की समस्या पाई जाएगी, उसे तुरंत ठीक कराया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि केंद्र और राज्य सरकारें मिलकर किसान सम्मान निधि, समर्थन मूल्य और समय पर भुगतान जैसी योजनाओं के माध्यम से किसानों की आय बढ़ाने पर काम कर रही हैं।

सड़क निर्माण और बंद चीनी मिलों पर महत्वपूर्ण घोषणा

कार्यक्रम के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने लक्सर क्षेत्र के गंगदासपुर की सड़क को ऊँचा करने की घोषणा की। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि इकबालपुर और सितारगंज की बंद चीनी मिलों से प्रभावित किसानों को राहत देने के लिए राज्य सरकार ठोस कदम उठा रही है।

कार्यक्रम में भारी संख्या में किसान उपस्थित

प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष स्वामी यतीश्वरानंद के नेतृत्व में बड़ी संख्या में किसान कार्यक्रम में पहुँचे। उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री के नेतृत्व में राज्य में किसान हितों को लेकर अनेक महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय लिए जा रहे हैं और गन्ने के भाव में ऐतिहासिक वृद्धि इसी का परिणाम है।

इस अवसर पर पूर्व प्रदेश अध्यक्ष एवं विधायक मदन कौशिक, विधायक आदेश चौहान, प्रदीप बत्रा, पूर्व विधायक संजय गुप्ता, मेयर रुड़की अनिता अग्रवाल, उपाध्यक्ष/मेलाधिकारी श्रीमती सोनिका, जिलाधिकारी मयूर दीक्षित सहित कई जनप्रतिनिधि और भारी संख्या में किसान उपस्थित रहे।
