उत्तराखंड इस वर्ष अपने रजत जयंती यानी 25 वर्ष पूरे कर रहा है। इसके लिए राज्य सरकार एक नवंबर से लेकर नौ नवंबर तक कार्यक्रम आयोजित कर रही है। पहले रजत जयंती समोराह का समापन प्रधानमंत्री की उपस्थिति में 11 नवंबर को होना था।
