मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आज वाल्मीकि जयंती के अवसर पर आदिकवि महर्षि वाल्मीकि के चित्र पर श्रद्धा सुमन अर्पित कर उन्हें भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि दी। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने महर्षि वाल्मीकि के जीवन और कृतित्व को स्मरण करते हुए उनके आदर्शों को आत्मसात करने का आह्वान किया।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि रामायण के रचयिता महर्षि वाल्मीकि न केवल भारतीय साहित्य के स्तंभ हैं, बल्कि उनकी रचनाएं हमें सत्य, प्रेम और कर्तव्य के मार्ग पर चलने की प्रेरणा देती हैं।

उन्होंने आगे कहा, “महर्षि वाल्मीकि द्वारा प्रतिपादित समरसता, सद्भाव और मानवता जैसे नैतिक मूल्य आज भी समाज को दिशा दिखाते हैं। उनका जीवन हमें सिखाता है कि कैसे परिवर्तन संभव है और आत्मशुद्धि के माध्यम से मानव महानता प्राप्त कर सकता है।”

मुख्यमंत्री ने इस अवसर पर समाज में समानता, सामाजिक समरसता और सांस्कृतिक मूल्यों को आगे बढ़ाने का संकल्प लेने का भी आह्वान किया।

वाल्मीकि जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में राज्यभर में विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया, जिनमें धार्मिक अनुष्ठान, रामायण पाठ और सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियां प्रमुख रहीं।
