आज विश्व के 180 से अधिक देशों में मनाया जा रहा योग दिवस
– योग केवल व्यायाम ही नहीं समग्र जीवन पद्धति है – मुख्यमंत्री
टिहरी – मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने सोमवार को जनपद टिहरी के गंगा रिजॉर्ट मुनिकीरेती में आयोजित अन्तराष्ट्रीय योग महोत्सव 2026 में प्रतिभाग किया। इस अवसर पर अपने संबोधन में मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि योग केवल व्यायाम नही समग्र जीवन पद्धति है। योग आत्मा को परमात्मा से जोड़ने का काम करता है। उन्होंने देश प्रदेश के युवाओं से योग को अपने जीवन का हिस्सा बनाने की अपील करते हुए कहा कि वर्तमान में विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में कार्य करने वाले युवा आमतौर पर थकावट महसूस करते है इसमें योग उनका सबसे अच्छा सहयोगी बन सकता है, राज्य सरकार ने योग नीति 2025 बनायी है। प्रदेश के प्रत्येक जनपद में 50 और 10 बेड वाले आयुष चिकित्सालय की स्थापना की जा रही है। योग और आध्यात्म को बढ़ावा देने के लिए 10 करोड़ का प्राविधान किया गया है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि गढ़वाल मंडल विकास निगम और उत्तराखंड पर्यटन विभाग के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में आयोजित हो रहा ये अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग महोत्सव पिछले 35 वर्षों से योग की परंपरा को विश्व के कोने-कोने तक पहुँचाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहा है। इस बार आयोजित इस 7 दिवसीय भव्य योग महोत्सव में योग, प्राणायाम, ध्यान, आयुर्वेद, प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा और आध्यात्मिक प्रवचनों के विविध सत्रों के साथ-साथ रन फॉर योगा, हेरिटेज वॉक तथा अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग सम्मेलन जैसे कई विशेष कार्यक्रमों का भी आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इससे प्रतिभागियों को योग के विविध आयामों से परिचित कराने के साथ-साथ उन्हें स्वस्थ और संतुलित जीवनशैली अपनाने की प्रेरणा मिलेगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि योग भारत की प्राचीन और महान आध्यात्मिक परंपरा की अमूल्य धरोहर है। हजारों वर्ष पूर्व हमारे ऋषि-मुनियों ने योग के माध्यम से शरीर, मन और आत्मा के संतुलन का जो मार्ग दिखाया था, आज वो पूरी दुनिया के लिए स्वस्थ जीवन, मानसिक शांति और आध्यात्मिक उन्नति का सशक्त आधार बन चुका है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि योग के महत्त्व को देखते हुए प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वर्ष 2014 में संपूर्ण विश्व के कल्याण के लिए 21 जून को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के रूप में मनाने का प्रस्ताव संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ में रखा था। उसी का परिणाम है कि आज दुनिया के 180 से अधिक देशों में करोड़ों लोग योग का अभ्यास कर रहे हैं। उन्होने कहा कि उत्तराखंड केवल देवभूमि ही नहीं, बल्कि योगभूमि भी है। यहां की पवित्र नदियाँ, शांत वातावरण, स्वच्छ जलवायु और आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा योग साधना के लिए एक आदर्श वातावरण प्रदान करती हैं। विश्वभर से हजारों-लाखों साधक प्रति वर्ष उत्तराखंड आकर योग और ध्यान का अभ्यास करते हैं। हमारे लिए यह भी अत्यंत गर्व की बात है कि आज पूरी दुनिया में ऋषिकेश को “विश्व की योग राजधानी” के रूप में पहचान मिल रही है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आज प्रदेश में आयुष आधारित 300 से अधिक आयुष्मान आरोग्य केंद्र संचालित किए जा रहे हैं, साथ ही प्रदेश के प्रत्येक जनपद में 50 और 10 बेड वाले आयुष चिकित्सालयों की स्थापना भी की जा रही है। इसके साथ ही, ई-संजीवनी पोर्टल के माध्यम से विशेषज्ञों द्वारा नागरिकों को आयुष परामर्श भी प्रदान किया जा रहा है। यही नही उत्तराखंड आयुष नीति के माध्यम से औषधि निर्माण, वेलनेस, शिक्षा, शोध और औषधीय पौधों के संवर्धन को भी बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है, इसके साथ ही राज्य में आयुर्वेद एवं प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा, योग और आध्यात्मिक पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए गढ़वाल और कुमाऊं मंडलों में एक-एक स्पिरिचुअल इकोनॉमिक ज़ोन की स्थापना की जा रही है। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने गढ़वाल मंडल के हर गांव को पर्यटन से जोड़ने संबंधी उत्तराखंड खोज योजना का रिमोट दबाकर लोकार्पण भी किया।
इस अवसर पर पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने कहा कि योग हमारी प्रचीन पद्धति में शुमार है। हमारे ऋषि मुनियों ने योग और तप बल से कई सिद्धियां हासिल की है। वन मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल ने कहा कि आज योग से करोडों़ लोग निरोग हो रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि इस क्षेत्र की सबसे बड़ी पहचान मे योग की मुख्य भूमिका है।
प्रबंध निदेशक गढ़वाल मण्डल विकास निगम प्रतीक जैन ने बताया कि इस बार अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग महोत्सव में 2500 से अधिक रजिट्रेशन हो चुके है। इस योग महोत्सव को 150 योग संस्थाओं के सहयोग से सफल बनाया जा रहा है। कार्यक्रम में गुरु कुल कांगड़ी सहित विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से आये के योग साधको द्वारा योग की विभिन्न क्रियाओं का भी प्रदर्शन किया गया।
इस अवसर पर नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष मुनिकीरेती नीलम बिजल्वाण, अध्यक्ष नगर निगम ऋषिकेश शम्भू पासवान, अध्यक्ष नगर पंचायत तपोवन विनीता बिष्ट जिलाधिकारी नितिका खण्डेलवाल, एसएसपी आयुष अग्रवाल स्वामी चिदानन्द मुनि महंत रविन्द्र पुरी, भारत भूषण, योगाचार्य ऊषा माता सहित हजारों की संख्या में योग साधक उपस्थित रहे।
