उत्तराखंड राष्ट्रीय रोग नियंत्रण केंद्र खुलेगा। सरकार ने इसकी प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। संचारी रोग सर्दी-जुकाम, फ्लू,मलेरिया, डेंगू, टाइफाइड, टीबी, हैजा, एचआईवी एड्स, खसरा और हेपेटाइटिस ए, बी, और सी और गैरसंचारी रोग उच्च रक्तचाप, हृदय रोग, कैंसर, मधुमेह, सांस से संबंधित रोग अस्थमा व क्रॉनिक ऑब्सट्रक्टिव पल्मोनरी की रोकथाम व जांच पर राष्ट्रीय रोग केंद्र के माध्यम से लगातार निगरानी की जाएगी।
प्रदेश में संचारी व गैरसंचारी रोगों की रोकथाम व समय पर पहचान के लिए राष्ट्रीय रोग नियंत्रण केंद्र खोला जाएगा। इसके लिए प्रदेश सरकार ने प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। इस केंद्र के बनने से ब्लाक व जिला स्तर पर रोगों की रोकथाम व उपचार की प्रभावी निगरानी की जा सकेगी। राष्ट्रीय संचारी रोग संस्थान (एनआईसीडी) की ओर से रोग नियंत्रण पर शोध करने के साथ उपचार के लिए दिशानिर्देश जारी किए जाते हैं।

इसके साथ ही बीमारियों से ग्रसित मरीजों का डाटा तैयार होगा। सचिव स्वास्थ्य डॉ. आर.राजेश कुमार ने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री आयुष्मान स्वास्थ्य अवसंरचना मिशन के तहत प्रदेश में राष्ट्रीय रोग नियंत्रण केंद्र स्थापित किया जाएगा। इस केंद्र के बनने से प्रदेश में संक्रमण के कारण एक व्यक्ति से दूसरे व्यक्ति में फैलने वाले संचारी रोग व गैरसंचारी रोगों की रोकथाम के लिए ठोस रणनीति बनाने के लिए निगरानी भी होगी। इसके अलावा स्वास्थ्य महानिदेशालय में सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य के लिए इमरजेंसी ऑपरेशन सेल स्थापित किया जा रहा है। इससे राज्य में आपदा व अन्य दुर्घटनाओं के समय तत्काल उपचार की सुविधा पहुंचाने के लिए समन्वय बनाया जाएगा।
