जागरण संवाददाता, रामनगर। रामनगर के इतिहास में पहली बार रणजी ट्राफी मैच का आयोजन होने जा रहा है। कोशिकी क्रिकेट ग्राउंड मंगलार में आयोजित होने वाले मैच की तैयारी पूरी कर ली गई है। गुरुवार को मंगलार गांव में क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन आफ उत्तराखंड के अध्यक्ष दीपक मेहरा ने पत्रकार वार्ता में बताया कि रणजी ट्राफी के तीन मैच उत्तराखंड में खेले जाएंगे। जिसमें रामनगर से रणजी ट्राफी के मैच की शुरूआत होगी।
पहला मैच रामनगर में 25 अक्टूबर से 28 अक्टूबर तक उत्तराखंड और रेलवे की टीम के बीच खेला जाएगा। 90 ओवर के चार दिवसीय मैच में दो पारी खेली जाएंगी। मैच सुबह नौ बजे से शाम पांच बजे के बीच होगा। इसके लिए भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड के भेजे गए रेफरी, अंपायर सहित दोनों टीम आ चुकी है। खेल मैदान को मैच के मानकों के हिसाब से खेलने लायक बनाया जा रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि रणजी ट्राफी से ही क्रिकेट की असली पहचान होती है।
अगला मैच देहरादून के राजीव गांधी स्टेडियम में 16 नवंबर को उत्तराखंड व गुजरात की टीम तथा 29 जनवरी को आसाम व उत्तराखंड की टीम के बीच खेला जाएगा। मेहरा ने बताया कि 2026 में होने वाले आईपीएल मैच भी देहरादून में कराए जाएंगे। पत्रकार वार्ता में राहुल पावर, भूपेंद मेहरा, गौतम फर्त्याल, हिमांशु चौहान भी मौजूद थे। मैच को लेकर क्रिकेट प्रेमियों में उत्साह बना हुआ है।
