उत्तराखंड में युवा आपदा मित्र योजना के अंतर्गत एनएसएस स्वयंसेवकों का प्रशिक्षण प्रारंभ, युवाओं को बनाया जा रहा आपदा प्रबंधन में सशक्त
उत्तराखंड में राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (NDMA) और राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (SDMA) के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में युवा आपदा मित्र योजना के तहत एनएसएस स्वयंसेवकों का प्रशिक्षण एसडीआरएफ जौलीग्रांट में आरंभ हो गया है। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन एसडीआरएफ सेनानायक श्री अर्पण यदुवंशी ने किया।
यह प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम 13 अक्टूबर 2025 से मार्च 2026 तक चरणबद्ध रूप से संचालित होगा, जिसका उद्देश्य राज्य के युवाओं को आपदा प्रबंधन के क्षेत्र में दक्ष बनाना है।
11 जनपदों के 4,310 स्वयंसेवक होंगे प्रशिक्षित
इस योजना के अंतर्गत उत्तराखंड के 11 जनपदों से कुल 4,310 स्वयंसेवकों को प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा, जिसमें शामिल हैं:

एनसीसी: 1,700 कैडेट्स

एनएसएस: 850 स्वयंसेवक

नेहरू युवा केंद्र: 850 स्वयंसेवक

भारत स्काउट्स एंड गाइड्स: 910 स्वयंसेवक
एसडीआरएफ जौलीग्रांट में कुल 1,220 स्वयंसेवकों (एनएसएस – 644, नेहरू युवा केंद्र – 576) को 17 बैचों में प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा।
प्रथम बैच का प्रशिक्षण 13 से 19 अक्टूबर तक
पहले बैच में 35 स्वयंसेवक प्रशिक्षण ले रहे हैं, जो 13 से 19 अक्टूबर तक चलेगा। प्रशिक्षण में उन्हें फर्स्ट एड, जनरल डिजास्टर मैनेजमेंट, सर्च ऑपरेशन तकनीक, और रोप रेस्क्यू जैसी महत्वपूर्ण विधाओं में सैद्धांतिक और व्यावहारिक ज्ञान प्रदान किया जा रहा है।
श्री अर्पण यदुवंशी ने कहा कि “उत्तराखंड का संवेदनशील भौगोलिक स्वरूप प्रशिक्षित आपदा मित्रों की उपस्थिति को अनिवार्य बनाता है।” उन्होंने युवाओं की इस भूमिका को राज्य की आपदा सुरक्षा प्रणाली के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण स्तंभ बताया।
व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण और मॉक ड्रिल्स का आयोजन
प्रशिक्षण के दौरान भारत स्काउट्स एंड गाइड्स के स्वयंसेवकों को:

वहीं, एनसीसी कैडेट्स को भूकंप और उससे बचाव के उपायों की विस्तृत जानकारी दी गई। एनडीआरएफ टीम द्वारा मॉक ड्रिल करवाई गई, जिसमें भवनों के अंदर फंसे लोगों को सुरक्षित निकालने का अभ्यास शामिल रहा।
