मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आज राजीव गांधी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्टेडियम, रायपुर, देहरादून में आयोजित उत्तराखण्ड प्रीमियर लीग (UPL) 2025 के समापन समारोह में भाग लिया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने विजेता टीम को उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन के लिए बधाई दी और सभी खिलाड़ियों, आयोजन समिति व दर्शकों का आभार व्यक्त किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि:
“खेल में हार-जीत स्वाभाविक है, लेकिन असली विजेता वही होता है जो हार से सीखकर और आगे बढ़ता है। अनुशासन, टीमवर्क और संघर्ष की भावना ही किसी खिलाड़ी को नई ऊंचाइयों तक पहुंचाती है।”
उन्होंने कहा कि खेल केवल शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य नहीं, बल्कि मानसिक मजबूती और चरित्र निर्माण में भी अहम भूमिका निभाते हैं।
महिला खिलाड़ियों को मिली सराहना
मुख्यमंत्री ने विशेष रूप से महिला खिलाड़ियों की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड की बेटियाँ हर क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन कर रही हैं। उन्होंने राघवी बिष्ट, प्रेमा रावत और नंदनी कश्यप जैसी युवा खिलाड़ियों का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि ये बेटियाँ अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व कर रही हैं, जो प्रदेश के लिए गर्व की बात है।
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन महिला क्रिकेट को बढ़ावा देकर भविष्य में एक नया इतिहास रचने की दिशा में काम कर रही है।
स्थानीय खिलाड़ियों के लिए ठोस व्यवस्था की मांग
मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने चिंता जताई कि पहाड़ी मूल के कई खिलाड़ी आईपीएल में तो अच्छा प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं, लेकिन वे उत्तराखण्ड की टीम से नहीं खेल रहे हैं। उन्होंने क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन से आग्रह किया कि प्रदेश की टीम को देश की सबसे मजबूत टीम बनाने हेतु संरचना और नीति में सुधार लाया जाए।
खेलों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए योजनाओं की घोषणा
मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि उत्तराखण्ड सरकार प्रदेश में खेल संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देने के लिए कई ठोस कदम उठा रही है:

जल्द ही “स्पोर्ट्स लेगेसी प्लान” लागू किया जाएगा।

8 शहरों में 23 खेल अकादमियों की स्थापना की जाएगी।

हर साल 920 विश्वस्तरीय एथलीट और 1000 अन्य खिलाड़ी उच्च स्तरीय प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त करेंगे।

नई खेल नीति के अंतर्गत राष्ट्रीय व अंतरराष्ट्रीय पदक विजेताओं को आउट ऑफ टर्न सरकारी नौकरी दी जा रही है।

खेल रत्न पुरस्कार, मुख्यमंत्री उदीयमान खिलाड़ी योजना, खेल किट योजना, और सरकारी नौकरी में 4% क्षैतिज आरक्षण जैसी योजनाएं लागू की गई हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हाल ही में आयोजित 38वें राष्ट्रीय खेल उत्तराखण्ड को “देवभूमि” के साथ-साथ “खेलभूमि” के रूप में स्थापित करने की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम हैं।
समारोह में बड़ी संख्या में लोग हुए शामिल
