मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आज क्षेत्रीय संपर्क योजना (उड़ान योजना) के अंतर्गत पिथौरागढ़-मुनस्यारी-पिथौरागढ़ एवं हल्द्वानी-अल्मोड़ा-हल्द्वानी हवाई सेवाओं का मुख्यमंत्री आवास से वर्चुअल माध्यम से शुभारंभ किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि इन हवाई सेवाओं के शुरू होने से राज्य के दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में आम नागरिकों का आवागमन सुगम होगा।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि अल्मोड़ा और मुनस्यारी उत्तराखण्ड के प्राचीन नगर होने के साथ ही ऐतिहासिक एवं सांस्कृतिक रूप से महत्वपूर्ण शहर हैं। ये शहर प्राकृतिक सुंदरता, ऐतिहासिक मंदिरों और समृद्ध संस्कृति के लिए देश और दुनिया भर के पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करते हैं। हेली सेवा शुरू होने से अब पर्यटक अल्मोड़ा और मुनस्यारी तक और भी आसानी से पहुँच सकेंगे। इन सेवाओं से हल्द्वानी से अल्मोड़ा पहुँचने का समय 3 से 4 घंटे से घटकर महज़ कुछ मिनटों का रह जाएगा। हेली सेवाओं के प्रारंभ होने से दोनों क्षेत्रों में पर्यटन एवं आर्थिक विकास को गति मिलेगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने उड़ान योजना जैसी दूरदर्शी योजना प्रारंभ की थी। इस योजना ने प्रदेश में हवाई संपर्क को मज़बूत करने में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया है, जिसके अंतर्गत राज्य के कई हिस्सों में हवाई पट्टियों और हेलीपोर्ट्स का विकास किया गया है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य में 18 हेलीपोर्ट्स से हेली सेवाओं के संचालन की दिशा में कार्य किया जा रहा है, जिनमें से अब तक 12 हेलीपोर्ट्स पर सेवाएँ सफलतापूर्वक प्रारंभ की जा चुकी हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हेली सेवाओं से अब तक गौचर, जोशियाड़ा, हल्द्वानी, मुनस्यारी, मसूरी, पिथौरागढ़, पंतनगर, चंपावत, बागेश्वर, नैनीताल और अल्मोड़ा जैसे महत्वपूर्ण क्षेत्रों को जोड़ा जा चुका है। उन्होंने कहा कि आने वाले समय में अन्य महत्वपूर्ण क्षेत्रों को भी हेली सेवाओं से जोड़ा जाएगा।
गौरतलब है कि पिथौरागढ़ -मुनस्यारी -पिथौरागढ़ एवं हल्द्वानी-अल्मोड़ा-हल्द्वानी के लिए हेलीकॉप्टर सेवा सप्ताह में 7 दिन तथा प्रत्येक दिन दो बार संचालित होगी। पिथौरागढ़ से मुनस्यारी के लिए यह हेली सेवा सुबह 10:30 बजे एवं दोपहर 1:50 बजे चलेगी। वहीं मुनस्यारी से पिथौरागढ़ के लिए यह सेवा सुबह 10:50 बजे एवं दोपहर 2:10 बजे चलेगी।
हल्द्वानी से अल्मोड़ा के लिए हेली सेवा सुबह 11:50 बजे एवं दोपहर 3:10 बजे चलेगी। जबकि अल्मोड़ा से हल्द्वानी के लिए यह सेवा दोपहर 12:50 बजे एवं सायं 4:10 बजे चलेगी। इन हवाई सेवाओं का किराया ₹2500 है, जिसे यात्री https://airheritage.in/ के माध्यम से ऑनलाइन टिकट बुक कर सकते हैं।
