सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने आज सैनिक कल्याण निदेशालय में सैनिक कल्याण विभाग की समीक्षा बैठक की। बैठक में प्रदेश के सभी जिलों के जिला सैनिक कल्याण अधिकारी भी वर्चुअल माध्यम से जुड़े।
बैठक में सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने प्रदेश के विभिन्न जनपदों से वर्चुअल माध्यम से जुड़े अधिकारियों से जिले में सैनिकों के कल्याण के लिए संचालित योजनाओं के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी प्राप्त की। इस दौरान मंत्री ने वर्चुअल माध्यम से जुड़े जिले सैनिक कल्याण अधिकारियों की जनपद में आ रही समस्याओं को भी रखा जिसपर मंत्री ने मौके पर कई समस्याओं का निस्तारण भी किया।
बैठक में अधिकारियों द्वारा अवगत कराया गया कि शहीद सैनिक के परिवार के एक सदस्य को रोजगार दिए जाने के क्रम में शहीद सैनिक के 24 आश्रितों को सेवायोजित किया जा चुका है। द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध अनुदान विगत वित्तीय वर्ष में कुल 567 पात्रों को रू 10,000.00 की दर से रू० 74001 लाख का द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध अनुदान प्रदान किया गया। वीरता पदक धारकों को देय राशि सम्मान राशि में विगत वर्ष में 1242 पात्रों को रू.1079.55 लाख की धनराशि का भुगतान किया गया है।गैर वीरता पदक धारकों को देय राशि सम्मान राशि में विगत वर्ष में 22 पात्रों को रू. 21.31 लाख की धनराशि का भुगतान किया गया है। पूर्व सैनिकों एवं उनके आश्रितों के लिए आईटीडीए के माध्यम से एक वर्षीय कम्प्यूटर संचालित किया जा रहा है जिसमें 352 प्रक्षण प्राप्त कर रहे है।
मंत्री ने शहीद सैनिकों के आश्रितों के लिए छात्रावास का निर्माण कुमाऊ मंडल के जनपद नैनीताल के हल्द्वानी में शहीद सैनिकों / भूतपूर्व सैनिकों के आश्रितो के लिए 150 बेड के छात्रावास का निर्माण किये जाने को मजूरी दी गयी है और चिन्हिकरण का कार्य गतिमान है। बैठक में मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि प्रदेश में जिन सैनिक विश्राम गृहों की स्थिति दयनीय है उनका शीघ्र जीर्णोधार किया जाए। मंत्री ने कहा सैनिक विश्राम गृहों के लिए 25 करोड़ रुपए की अलग से व्यवस्था की गई है। मंत्री ने कहा उत्तराखंड की भौगोलिक स्थिति अलग है जिसके दृष्टिगत अधिकारियों को यह सुनिश्चित किया गया है दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में पूर्व सैनिकों को कैंटीन का सामान लेने में कोई असुविधा न हो इसके लिए कैंटीन का निमार्ण पूर्व सैनिकों की सुविधा अनुसार और भौगोलिक दृष्टि को देखते हुए किया जाए। ताकि कैंटीन में समान लेते वक्त पूर्व सैनिकों कोई असुविधा न हो।
मंत्री ने कहा शीघ्र ही डोईवाला में कैंटीन का निर्माण भी किया जाएगा। मंत्री ने अधिकारियों को खटीमा में कैंटीन के निर्माण कार्य को शीघ्र किए जाए। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को सैनिक विश्राम गृहों शहीद द्वारों के निर्माण कार्यों को शीघ्र कार्य शुरू करने तथा शासन से संबंधित कार्यों को भी सुनियोजित तरीके से पूर्ण करने के निर्देश दिए। मंत्री ने अधिकारियों को सैन्य धाम के निर्माण कार्य को तय समय सीमा के भीतर पूर्ण करने के भी निर्देश दिए। मंत्री ने अधिकारियों को पूर्व सैनिकों और उनके आश्रितों के लिए चलाई जा रही कल्याणकारी योजनाओं के प्रचार प्रसार करने के भी निर्देश दिए।
इस अवसर पर सचिव दीपेंद्र चौधरी, निदेशक ब्रिगेडियर अमृत लाल अपर सचिव धर्म सत्तू सहित अन्य विभागीय अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
