जिलाधिकारी को बैठक में उपस्थित नारकोटिक्स विभाग के अधिकारियों ने कितने ड्रग्स के लाइसेंस जारी किये किये हैं आदि के सम्बन्ध में जानकारी दी। इस पर जिलाधिकारी ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि जितने भी लाइसेंेंस जारी किये गये हैं, उनका समय-समय पर भौतिक सत्यापन भी करना सुनिश्चित करें तथा जो दुकानें भौतिक सत्यापन में दर्शाये गये अभिलेखों के पते पर नहीं मिलते हैं तो, उनके खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाये। उन्होंने बैठक में अधिकारियों को ये भी निर्देश दिये कि नशा मुक्ति केन्द्रों की वर्तमान में क्या स्थिति है, के साथ-साथ हॉस्टल जिम आदि का भी समय-समय पर निरीक्षण किया जाये।
जिलाधिकारी ने बैठक में अधिकारियों को ये भी निर्देश दिये कि नशाखोरी के खिलाफ लोगों में जन-जागरूकता पैदा करने के लिये नुक्कड़ नाटक सहित विभिन्न माध्यमों से जिला तथा तहसील मुख्यालयों में अभियान चलाया जाये।
