1425 अभ्यर्थियों को आज उत्तराखण्ड पुलिस में नियुक्ति दी गई है। पुलिस लाईन, देहरादून में नियुक्ति पत्र वितरण कार्यक्रम के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री  पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने 55 अभ्यर्थियों को नियुक्ति पत्र प्रदान किये। आरक्षी जनपद पुलिस, आरक्षी पी.ए.सी/आई.आर.बी तथा फायरमैन में चयनित कुल सभी 1425 अभ्यर्थियों को आज नियुक्ति पत्र प्रदान किये गये। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा पुलिस आरक्षी के जो 1550 शेष रिक्त पद हैं, उन पर नई भर्ती प्रक्रिया शीघ्र प्रारम्भ की जायेगी।

मुख्यमंत्री  पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने नियुक्ति पत्र प्राप्त करने वाले सभी अभ्यर्थियों एवं उनके माता-पिता को शुभकामनाएं दी। उन्होंने कहा कि आज राज्य के जनपदों एवं पीएसी वाहिनियों में पुलिस विभाग के विभिन्न संवर्गों में पुलिस आरक्षी के रूप में हमारे ऊर्जा से भरे नवयुवक एवं नवयुवतियां पुलिस का अभिन्न अंग बनने जा रहे हैं। पुलिस आरक्षी पुलिस फोर्स की प्राथमिक इकाई है, जो विभाग में नींव की तरह कार्य करते हैं एवं विभिन्न थाने चौकियों एवं चौराहों पर पुलिस का मुख्य चेहरा बनकर तैनात रहते हैं। उन्होंने आशा व्यक्त की कि हमारे ये पुलिस आरक्षी कड़ी मेहनत, लगन एवं ईमानदारी के साथ अपने कर्तव्यों का पालन करेंगे। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि पुलिस व्यवस्था किसी भी राज्य की सुरक्षा एवं समृद्धि का एक आवश्यक अंग है। उत्तराखंड पुलिस हमेशा से अपने कार्य के प्रति समर्पित रही है, कोरोनाकाल हो या फिर प्राकृतिक आपदा, हर विपरीत परिस्थितियों में हमारी पुलिस फोर्स ने बेहतरीन कार्य किया है।

मुख्यमंत्री  पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री  नरेन्द्र मोदी जी के विजन के अनुरूप राज्य सरकार उत्तराखंड पुलिस को एक आधुनिक और स्मार्ट पुलिस बल बनाने के लिए संकल्पबद्ध है। उत्तराखण्ड पुलिस ने मित्रता, सेवा एवं सुरक्षा के रूप में अपनी एक विशिष्ट पहचान बनाई है। उत्तराखण्ड की आबादी के अलावा राज्य में राज्य की आबादी से लगभग पांच गुना श्रद्धालुगण देवभूमि आते हैं। प्रदेश में चारधाम यात्रा में प्रतिदिन हजारों श्रद्धालु आ रहे हैं। हमारी मित्र पुलिस के जवान पूरी तत्परता के साथ अपनी जिम्मेदारियों का निर्वहन कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि जब हम दूसरों के दर्द को अपना दर्द समझकर सेवाभाव से अपनी ड्यूटी करते हैं तभी हम सही अर्थों में अपने कर्तव्यों का भली भांति निर्वहन करने में सफल रहते हैं।

मुख्यमंत्री  पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि राज्य में पूर्ण पारदर्शिता के साथ परीक्षाएं कराने के लिए कठोर नकल विरोधी कानून लागू किया है। इस कानून के लागू होने के बाद अभी तक सभी परीक्षाएं पारदर्शी तरीके से सकुशल संपन्न कराई जा चुकी हैं। इस कानून के प्राविधान इतने कड़े किये गए हैं कि युवाओं के भविष्य के साथ कोई भी नकल माफिया खिलवाड़ नहीं कर सकेगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि भर्ती परीक्षाओं में गड़बड़ी को रोकने के लिए उन्होंने तय किया कि इसके लिए चाहे कितना भी संघर्ष करना पड़े, कितने भी लोगों की आलोचनाओं का शिकार होना पड़े, लेकिन एक गरीब माता-पिता के बेटे एवं बेटी के साथ अब वे अन्याय नहीं होने देंगे। एक सामान्य परिस्थिति में रहने वाले बेटे व बेटियों के माता-पिता के पास यदि कोई पूंजी होती है, तो उनकी शिक्षा होती है, उस पर भी लूट हो जायेगी, तो जो माता-पिता विपरीत परिस्थितियों में भी अपने बच्चों का लालन-पालन करते हैं और उनकी शिक्षा को आगे बढ़ाते हैं, उनके पास कुछ नहीं रह जायेगा। इस कानून के बनने के बाद प्रदेश सख्त नकल विरोधी कानून बनाने वाले राज्यों की श्रेणी में अग्रणी राज्य है।

अपर मुख्य सचिव  राधा रतूड़ी ने उत्तराखण्ड पुलिस में भर्ती होने वाले सभी अभ्यर्थियों को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि अब हमारे इन युवाओं को जन सेवा करने का सुनहरा अवसर मिल रहा है। समाज के लिए पुलिस का रोल बहुत महत्वपूर्ण होता है। उन्होंने कहा कि समाज के साथ मधुर व्यवहार रखते हुए अपने कर्तव्यों का पालन करना एवं समाज को सही दिशा में ले जाने में भी पुलिस की बड़ी भूमिका होती है।

पुलिस महानिदेशक  अशोक कुमार ने कहा आज उत्तराखण्ड पुलिस को 1425 नये जवान मिल गये हैं। 2016 के बाद लगभग सात साल बाद उत्तराखण्ड पुलिस को नये आरक्षी मिले हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि इनकी प्रशिक्षण की शुरूआत भी आज से ही की जायेगी। इन सभी आरक्षी को सामान्य प्रशिक्षण के साथ ही तकनीक आधारित प्रशिक्षण भी दिया जायेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस विभाग में वर्तमान में मुख्य आरक्षी दूरसंचार, उपनिरीक्षक तथा विधि विज्ञान प्रयोगशाला के अन्तर्गत कुल 538 पदों पर भर्ती प्रक्रिया गतिमान है।
