उक्त सूचना पर SI कुलदीपक पांडे के हमराह SDRF टीम मय रेस्क्यू उपकरणों के तत्काल घटनास्थल के लिए रवाना हुई।
SDRF टीम द्वारा तत्काल घटनास्थल पर पहुँचकर स्थानीय पुलिस के साथ त्वरित कार्यवाही करते हुए घनघोर अंधेरे में अत्यंत विषम परिस्थितियों में उक्त फंसे हुए युवक को सकुशल नदी से बाहर निकाल रेस्क्यू किया गया।
उक्त व्यक्ति द्वारा बताया गया वह नदी किनारे बैठा हुआ था और अचानक अनियंत्रित होकर नदी में गिर गया। लगभग 300 मीटर तक नदी में बहते हुए वह एक स्थान पर फंस गया था।
