प्रदेश के सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी शुक्रवार को भारत-तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस के वीर जवान सहायक सैनानी शहीद टिकम सिंह नेगी के देहरादून राजावाला स्थित उनके निजी आवास पहुंचे। शहीद टिकम सिंह नेगी की शहादत पर प्रदेश के सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने गहन शोक व्यक्त किया और परिवार वालो को ढांढस बंधाया। इस अवसर पर सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि शहीद के परिवार के एक सदस्य को सरकारी सेवा में नौकरी एवं विद्यालय और सड़क का नाम शहीद का नाम पर रखा जाएगा। मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा सरकार इस दुख की घड़ी में शहीद के परिवार के साथ है और सरकार की ओर से शहीद परिवार की हर संभव मदद् की जाएगी। गौरतलब है कि भारत तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस बल के असिस्टेंट कमांडेंट टीकम सिंह नेगी एलआरपी के दौरान पूर्वी लददाख के नार्दन सब सेक्टर के जनरल एरिया चेनचेंगमो में शहीद हो गए थे।
