सोमवार को अपने सभी पूर्व निर्धारित कार्यक्रम स्थगित कर प्रदेश के कृषि एवं कृषक कल्याण, सैनिक कल्याण एवं ग्राम्य विकास मंत्री गणेश जोशी सरखेत पहुंचे। जहां कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने सरखेत आपदा प्रभावित के 18 परिवारों को धनराशि एक लाख पांच हजार सात सौ रुपए के राहत राशि के चेक वितरित किए। इस दौरान आपदा प्रभावित ग्रामीणों ने मंत्री जोशी के सामने ने विस्थापन की गुहार लगाईए जिस पर काबीना मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने प्रभावितों को शीघ्र विस्थापन का भरोसा दिलाया और कहा कि आपदा प्रभावित परिवारों को राज्य सरकार की तरफ से हर संभव मदद की जाएगी। मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि सरकार इस दुःख की घड़ी में प्रभावितों के साथ हर पल खड़ी है।
आपदा के तीसरे दिन भी अपने सभी कार्यक्रमों को स्थगित कर सरखेत आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्र का दौरा किया। इस दौरान कैबिनेट मंत्री जोशी ने पूर्णनिर्माण और राहत बचाव कार्यों की अधिकारियों से जानकारी भी ली। कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्र में पहुंचकर आपदा पीड़ितों से मुलाकात कर सरकार की तरफ से हर संभव मदद का भरोसा दिलाया। इसके साथ ही मंत्री जोशी ने प्रभावितों को भोजनए पानीए रहने आदि की दिक्कत न हो इसके लिए मौके पर मौजूद प्रशासन के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए। मंत्री जोशी ने कहा कि सरकार प्रशासन की ओर से टूटे सड़क मार्गों और बिजली का कार्य बहुत तेजी के साथ किया जा रहा हैए लापता लोगों का सर्च ऑपरेशन भी युद्ध स्तर जारी है।
इस अवसर पर जिला पंचायत सदस्य वीर सिंह चौहान, अनुज कौषल, बालम सिंह, तहसीलदार सोहन सिंह राणा, डीडीओ सुशील मोहन डोभाल, परियोजना निदेशक आरके तिवारी, बीडीओ चक्रधर सेमवाल सहित कई अन्य लोग उपस्थित रहे।
