मसूरी – उपजिला अधिकारी कार्यालय में विभिन्न विभागों के साथ उप जिला अधिकारी ने बैठक कर माल रोड के सौंदर्यीकरण को लेकर दिशा निर्देशित किया। साथ ही माल रोड पर अतिक्रमण को लेकर भी वैंडर जोन बनाने की बात कही।
पर्यटन सीजन शुरू होते ही मालरोड पर बड़ी संख्या में अवैध पटरी वाले बैठ गये हैं जिसके कारण मालरोड की सुंदरता तार तार हो गई है। जिसका प्रभाव पर्यटन पर भी पड़ रहा है। इस संबंध में एसडीएम नरेश चंद्र दुर्गापाल ने संबंधित विभागों के साथ बैठक कर मालरोड की सुंदरता को बढाने व बनाये रखने पर वार्ता की। हालांकि लगातार शिकायतें मिलने पर पालिका प्रशासन की ओर से अतिक्रमण हटाने के लिए कार्रवाई भी की गई लेकिन समस्या का समाधान नहीं हो पाया। उप जिलाधिकारी कार्यालय में विभागों के आला अधिकारी मौजूद रहे जिन्होंने माल रोड के सौंदर्यीकरण व वेंडिंग जोन और पूरी माल रोड पर सड़क के कार्पेटिंग करने को लेकर चर्चा की गई।
इस बारे में जानकारी देते हुए उप जिलाधिकारी नरेश चंद्र दुर्गापाल ने बताया कि मसूरी देहरादून विकास प्राधिकरण द्वारा माल रोड का सौन्दर्यीकरण किया जाना है और जिसको लेकर सभी विभागों जिसमें लोक निर्माण विभाग, जल निगम, नगर पालिका परिषद, दूरसंचार विभाग, लोक निर्माण विभाग, एनएच के अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक कर आपसी तालमेल बनाकर माल रोड पर होने वाले निर्माण के संबंध में चर्चा की गई। जिसमें अधिकारियों को कहा गया है कि वह सड़क की खुदाई के दौरान अपनी पाइपलाइन सीवर लाइन और दूरसंचार विभाग की लाइनें एक साथ तालमेल बनाकर डालें ताकि बाद में सड़क को किसी प्रकार का नुकसान ना हो। उन्होंने बताया कि माल रोड को स्क्रैच करके बनाया जाना है जिसको लेकर सभी विभागों से तालमेल करने की बात कही गई है। साथ ही अतिक्रमण को लेकर भी एक प्रस्ताव बनाया गया है जिसमें वैंडर जोन बनाकर नगर पालिका से पंजीकृत व्यवसायियों को वहां पर विस्थापित किया जाना है जिसके लिए कार्य योजना बनाई जा रही है। इसमें जहां पर मालरोड संकरी है वहां से पटरी वालों को हटाकर अन्य स्थानों पर विस्थापित किया जायेगा। वहीं उन्होंने लोक निर्माण विभाग व एनएच को निर्देशित किया कि बरसात से पहले सभी कलवर्ट खोल दिए जायं क्यो कि अधिकतर कलवर्ट बंद हो गये है जिसका सर्वे कराया गया और अब इनके खोलने का कार्य भी शुरू कर दिया गया है।
बैठक में भाजपा मसूरी मंडल अध्यक्ष मोहन पेटवाल, नगर पालिका अधिशासी अधिकारी यूडी तिवाड़ी, एमडीडीए के अधीक्षण अभियंता श्याम मोहन शर्मा, नायब तहसीलदार भौंपाल सिंह चौहान, सहित लोक निर्माण विभाग, एनएच के अधिकारी भी मौजूद रहे।
