मसूरी – पहाड़ों की रानी मसूरी में पर्यटन सीजन नजदीक है वहीं माल रोड में यमुना मसूरी पेयजल योजना का कार्य कछुआ गति से हो रहा है जिसके चलते व्यापारियों और स्थानीय निवासियों में खासा आक्रोश देखने को मिल रहा है वही पेयजल निगम के अधिकारियों का कहना है कि 3 माह के भीतर यह योजना पूरी हो जाएगी।
आज माल रोड पर पेयजल लाइन का निरीक्षण करने अधिशासी अभियंता सुजीत विकास ने कार्य का जायजा भाजपा मसूरी मंडल अध्यक्ष मोहन पेटवाल के साथ लिया और संबंधित ठेकेदार को कार्य में गति लाने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने बताया कि पेयजल योजना का कार्य 3 माह के भीतर पूरा कर दिया जाएगा साथ ही माल रोड पर 5 अप्रैल के बाद डामरीकरण का कार्य शुरू कर दिया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि इस पेयजल योजना से मसूरी वासियों को 2053 तक लाभ मिलेगा और मसूरी में पानी की किल्लत पूरी तरह से समाप्त हो जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि शीघ्र ही एनएच से भी परमिशन मिल जाएगी और इस परियोजना को और अधिक गति के साथ पूरा किया जाएगा। मौके पर मौजूद भाजपा मंडल अध्यक्ष मोहन पेटवाल ने बताया कि यह योजना मसूरी वासियों के लिए है और अधिकारियों से वार्ता कर योजना को शीघ्र पूरा करने के लिए कहा गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि किसी भी विकास योजना के लिए थोड़ा बहुत परेशानियां होती है लेकिन उसका लाभ दूरगामी होता है। उन्होंने अधिशासी अभियंता से कहा कि मालरोड पर शीघ्रातिशीघ्र ब्लेक टॉप का कार्य शुरू किया जाय ताकि व्यापारियों की परेशानी समाप्त हो सके व पर्यटकों को मालरोड का आनंद लेने में परेशानी न हो। बताते चलें कि इन दिनों मसूरी की माल रोड पर पेयजल लाइन बिछाने का कार्य किया जा रहा है जिससे माल रोड पर सड़कों को खोदा जा रहा है जिससे कि पर्यटकों के साथ ही आम लोगों को भी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। स्थानीय व्यापारियों में इस योजना को शीघ्र पूरा करने के साथ ही माल रोड पर डामरीकरण करने की मांग की है ताकि आने वाले पर्यटक सीजन में पर्यटकों को किसी प्रकार की असुविधा का सामना ना करना पड़े। इस मौके पर पालिका सभासद अरविंद सेमवाल, मुकेश धनाई, सतीश ढौडियाल, धर्मपाल पंवार सहित पेयजल निगम के अधिकारी भारती रावत, एमएस रावत व ठेकेदार मौजूद रहे। इसके बाद गांधी चौक पर भी निरीक्षण किया गया व व्यापारियों से वार्ता की गई व उन्हें भरोसा दिलाया गया कि शीघ्र कार्य पूरा किया जायेगा। वहीं कार्य की गुणवत्ता पर भी सवाल उठाये जा रहे हैं क्यों कि मालरोड पर एक लोडर का पहिया पूरा धंस गया।
