मसूरी : अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस पर उत्तराखंड की कैन प्रोटेक्ट फाउंडेशन द्वारा मसूरी के ग्राम चामासारी में महिलाओं के लिए स्वास्थय शिविर लगाया जिसमे कैंसर रोकथाम और जागरूकता की जानकारी एवं जाँच की गयी। शिविर में मुख्य अथिति मसूरी वन प्रभाग की प्रभागीय वनाधिकारी कहकशां नसीम रही।
शिविर का शुभारम्भ प्रभागीय वनाधिकारी कहकशां नसीम, ग्राम प्रधान नरेंद्र मेलवान, डॉ सुमिता प्रभाकर, भाद्रीगाड रेंज की वन क्षेत्राधिकारी मेधावी कीर्ति ने सयुंक्त रूप से किया गया। शिविर में 75 महिलाओं एवं 35 पुरुषो की जाँच की गयी। शिविर में महिला रोग, सामान्य रोग, स्तन एवं गर्भाशय ग्रीवा की जाँच, ब्लड प्रेशर, शुगर, बी पी, हीमोग्लोबिन की जाँच के साथ निःशुल्क दवा वितरण भी किया गया।
अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस पर आयोजित इस शिविर में सी एम आई अस्पताल की महिला रोग विशषज्ञ एवं कैन प्रोटेक्ट फाउंडेशन की अध्यक्ष डॉ सुमिता प्रभाकर द्वारा महिलाओं की जाँच की गयी एवं उन्हें स्तन एवं सर्वाइकल कैंसर की रोकथाम के बारे में जानकारी दी गयी। शिविर में काफी महिलाओं में खून की कमी पाई गई जिसके लिए उन्हें दवाएं दी गई ।
डॉ सुमिता प्रभाकर ने इस अवसर पर कहा की पहाड़ो में रहने वाली महिलाओं को स्तन एवं सर्वाइकल कैंसर रोकथाम के लिए कैन प्रोटेक्ट फाउंडेशन द्वारा गांव गाँव में स्वास्थ शिविर का आयोजन किया जा रहा है जिसमे महिलाओं को विशेष सुविधा दी जा रही है। इन शिविर के माध्यम से महिला रोग विशेषज्ञ गांव में जाते है और इससे ऐसे वातावरण का निर्माण होता है जहाँ महिलाएं स्तन रोगो के बारे में खुल का बात कर पाती है और साथ ही यहाँ उनकी स्तन जाँच की जाती है। ऐसे में स्तन कैंसर का जल्दी पता चलता है और इससे स्तन कैंसर से होने वाली मृत्यु दर में कमी लायी जा सकती है। उन्होंने बताया की सभी गांव में कैन प्रोटेक्ट फाउंडेशन द्वारा गढ़वाली भाषा में बनायीं गयी “कैन ऐप” की जानकारी भी दी जा रही है जिसकी मदद से महिलाएं घर बैठे अपने मोबाइल में स्वयं स्तन परिक्षण अपनी स्थानीय भाषा में सीख रही है।
शिविर में महिलाओं को स्तन एवं सर्वाइकल कैंसर सम्बंधित ज्ञान सामग्री भी वितरित की गयी जिसकी मदद से वह स्तन एवं सर्वाइकल कैंसर के लक्षण, बचाव, एवं जल्दी पता लगाने की तरीके, ज़रूरी स्क्रीनिंग परिक्षण एवं रोकथाम के बारे में जान सकेगी । शिविर में महिलाओं के लिए अच्छी सेहत एवं बीमारियों से बचाव के बारे में बताया गया ।
इस दौरान मसूरी वन प्रभाग की प्रभागीय वनाधिकारी कहकशा नसीम ने संस्था के द्वारा किए जा रहे कार्यों की सराहना की एवम कैन प्रोटेक्ट फाउन्डेशन की अध्यक्षा डॉ सुमिता प्रभाकर से मसूरी के 350 गांवों में शिविर लगाने के लिए निवेदन किया । इस अवसर पर उन्होंने चामासारी के ग्राम प्रधान नरेंद्र मेलवान की भी प्रशंसा की जिन्होंने महिला स्वास्थ के लिए यह पहल की ।
महिलाओं को दिया आशा की किरण सम्मान :-
कैन प्रोटेक्ट फाउंडेशन ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर महिला दिवस मनाया। जिसमें संस्था की ओर से महिलाओं का सम्मान किया गया। यह सभी महिलाएं स्वयं सहायता समूह का नेतृत्व करके न सिर्फ पहाड़ो में रोज़गार का सृजन कर रही है बल्कि अन्य महिलाओं को प्रेरित भी कर रही हैं । ऐसी महिलाओं को कैन प्रोटेक्ट फाउंडेशन की अध्यक्षा डॉ सुमिता प्रभाकर की ओर से “आशा की किरण” सम्मान से सम्मानित किया गया और उपहार दिए। इस अवसर पर कैन प्रोटेक्ट फाउंडेशन की अध्यक्षा डॉ सुमिता प्रभाकर ने कहा हमने गाँव में आकर उन महिलाओं को सम्मानित किया हैं जो की आदर्श ग्राम की वाहक बन रही हैं, यह महिलाएं कम संसाधनों के बावजूद भी आत्मनिर्भर है और समाज के लिए उदहारण है। इस दौरान मसूरी वन प्रभाग की प्रभागीय वनाधिकारी कहकशां नसीम मुख्य अतिथि रही जिन्होंने महिलाओं को शाल ओढ़ाकर सम्मानित किया। सम्मनित की गई महिलाएं सेंदुल गांव, घोड़ाखुरी, निज्ञयाना, चमासारी, सेरा गांव से रही । कोरोना काल में कार्य करने वाली आशा कार्यकत्रियों को भी इस अवसर पर सम्मानित किया गया ।
इस अवसर पर चामासारी के प्रधान नरेंद्र मेलवान, वन क्षेत्राधिकारी, भद्रीगाड़ रेंज मेधावी कीर्ति, मसूरी वनक्षेत्राधिकारी गैरोला, डॉ रेखा खन्ना, डॉ विनीता सिंह, डॉ पूजा, सिस्टर निर्मला, ललित आनंद, सुरेंद्र जुनेजा, समीर दत्ता आदि उपस्थित रहे।
