सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री ने डोईवाला में कैंटीन खोलने के प्रस्ताव को शीघ्र स्वीकृति का आग्रह किया और प्रदेश की भौगोलिक स्थिति को देखते हुए आवश्यकतानुसार अन्य स्थानांे में कैंटीन खोलने पर विचार करने का अनुरोध किय। इसके अतिरिक्त, देहरादून में निर्माण हो रहे सैन्य धाम को लेकर भी चर्चा की गई। जिसमें सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री ने सीडीएस से उत्तराखंड के वीर योद्धाओं द्वारा युद्ध के दौरान इस्तेमाल शस्त्रों को भी सैन्य धाम में स्थापित किया जाने का आग्रह किया ताकि युवा पीढ़ी देश की सेना के प्रति आकर्षित हो सके।
