मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मंगलवार को कैंट रोड, देहरादून से सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता एवं पर्यावरण संरक्षण के उद्देश्य से आयोजित 5 किलोमीटर दौड़ का फ्लैग ऑफ किया। विभिन्न आयु वर्गों के बड़ी संख्या में प्रतिभागियों ने इस दौड़ में भाग लिया। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री श्री धामी ने सभी प्रतिभागियों को सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों के पालन एवं पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने की शपथ भी दिलाई।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यातायात के नियमों का पालन करना एवं पर्यावरण की रक्षा प्रत्येक नागरिक का कर्तव्य है। सड़क सुरक्षा एवं पर्यावरण संरक्षण की दिशा में सरकार द्वारा निरंतर प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।
इस अवसर पर विधायक श्री खजान दास, श्रीमती सविता कपूर एवं परिवहन विभाग के अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
