राजधानी देहरादून में भरे बाजार में दिन दहाड़े सनसनीखेज वारदात हुई है। यहां सोमवार को मच्छी बाजार इलाके में धारदार हथियार से गर्दन काटकर 23 साल की युवती की हत्या कर दी गई। इस घटना से हड़कंप मच गया है। पुलिस ने आरोपी युवक को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।

जानकारी के मुताबिक नगर कोतवाली क्षेत्र में मच्छी बाजार इलाके में एक 23 साल की युवती की निर्मम हत्या कर दी गई। आरोपी ने धारदार चापड़ से युवती की गर्दन काटकर वारदात को अंजाम दिया।

बताया जा रहा है कि 23 वर्षीय युवती घर से निकली थी। दूल्हा बाजार के पास बाहर एक बाइक सवार युवक ने उसे रोका और बातचीत करने लगा, इसी बीच उसने चापड़ से युवती की गर्दन पर वार कर दिया। आनन फानन में युवती को अस्तपाल ले जाया गया लेकिन उसने रास्ते में दम तोड़ दिया। इस जघन्य हत्याकांड के बाद इलाके में हड़कंप मचा है तो लोगों में भारी आक्रोश है।

आरोपी की तलाश करने के बाद पुलिस ने उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। हत्या आरोपी का नाम आकाश कुमार है। वह खुड़बुड़ा का रहने वाला है। मृतक युवती का नाम गुंजन बताया जा रहा है। गुंजन पिछले 5 से 6 सालों से दूल्हा बाजार में कपड़े की दुकान में काम करती थी।

पुलिस सख्ती दिखाती तो नहीं होती वारदात

पुलिस अनुसार पूछताछ में पता चला है कि आरोपी काफी दिनों से गुंजन का पीछा कर रहा था। जिसको लेकर दोनों में बहस भी हुई थी। आकाश ने कुछ दिन पहले गुंजन को धमकी भी दी थी इसके बाद गुंजन ने खुड़बुड़ा चौकी में शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी। लेकिन पुलिस के ढीले रवैए के कारण कोई कार्रवाई नहीं हुई और आज गुंजन को जान से हाथ धोना पड़ा। इस घटना के विरोध में इलाके के बाजार की सभी दुकानें बंद हो गई हैं। लोग पुलिस से हत्यारे को सख्त सजा दिलाने की मांग कर रहे हैं।
