मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आज ग्राम पंचायत शशबनी, जनपद नैनीताल में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग करते हुए लगभग ₹112 करोड़ 34 लाख की लागत से जुड़ी 17 विकास योजनाओं का लोकार्पण एवं शिलान्यास किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने महिला स्वयं सहायता समूहों एवं विभिन्न विभागों द्वारा लगाए गए स्टॉलों का निरीक्षण कर उनके उत्पादों की सराहना की।

मुख्यमंत्री ने भीमताल क्षेत्र के समग्र विकास को लेकर कई महत्वपूर्ण घोषणाएं कीं। उन्होंने भीड़ापानी, नाई, डालकन्या, देवनगर, सिलौटी और सुन्दरखाल में मिनी स्टेडियम के निर्माण, ओखलकांडा के करायल बैण्ड–टकुरा वन चौकी मार्ग के डामरीकरण, भीमताल बाईपास नहर कवरिंग के शेष कार्य को पूर्ण कराने, भीमताल में नई पार्किंग एवं नए रोडवेज बस स्टेशन की स्थापना, भीमताल नगर में अग्निशमन केंद्र खोलने की घोषणा की। इसके साथ ही नौकुचियाताल–खड़की खरौला रोड के मिलान, कसियालेख–काफली–पदीकनाला रोड के डामरीकरण तथा बडोन–सिमलिया–साननी मोटर मार्ग के मिलान की भी घोषणा की गई।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि भीमताल विधानसभा क्षेत्र सहित पूरे नैनीताल जिले के समग्र विकास के लिए सरकार निरंतर कार्य कर रही है। क्षेत्रीय विधायक द्वारा मुख्य मार्ग–10 की खराब स्थिति का मुद्दा उठाए जाने पर तत्काल संज्ञान लेते हुए लगभग ₹9.5 करोड़ की राशि सड़क के पुनर्निर्माण हेतु स्वीकृत की गई है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के मार्गदर्शन में उत्तराखण्ड आज विकास के नए आयाम स्थापित कर रहा है। सड़क, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य और पेयजल सहित सभी क्षेत्रों में तेजी से आधारभूत ढांचे का विकास किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि कैंची धाम, नैनादेवी मंदिर, मुक्तेश्वर धाम सहित राज्य के पौराणिक मंदिरों का पुनरुद्धार मिशन मोड में किया जा रहा है।

पलायन रोकने के प्रयासों का उल्लेख करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि ‘एक जनपद–दो उत्पाद’, ‘हाउस ऑफ हिमालयाज’, ‘स्टेट मिलेट मिशन’, ‘होमस्टे’ और ‘वेड इन उत्तराखण्ड’ जैसी योजनाएं स्थानीय अर्थव्यवस्था को सशक्त बना रही हैं। पलायन आयोग की नवीन रिपोर्ट के अनुसार राज्य में रिवर्स पलायन में 44 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि, बेरोजगारी दर में 4.4 प्रतिशत की कमी आई है तथा नीति आयोग के एसडीजी इंडेक्स में उत्तराखण्ड को देश में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त हुआ है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि नकल माफियाओं पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए राज्य में देश का सबसे सख्त नकल विरोधी कानून लागू किया गया है, जिसके चलते अब तक 26 हजार से अधिक युवाओं को सरकारी नौकरी मिली है और 100 से अधिक नकल माफियाओं को जेल भेजा गया है। भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ जीरो टॉलरेंस नीति के तहत विजिलेंस के माध्यम से 200 से अधिक सरकारी कर्मियों पर कार्रवाई की गई है।

कार्यक्रम में विधायक भीमताल श्री राम सिंह कैड़ा ने मुख्यमंत्री का स्वागत करते हुए क्षेत्रीय विकास योजनाओं की स्वीकृति के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया।

इस अवसर पर जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष श्रीमती दीपा दरमवाल, ब्लॉक प्रमुख धारी श्रीमती भावना आर्या, ओखलकांडा के केडी रूबाली, जिलाधिकारी श्री ललित मोहन रयाल, एसपी यातायात श्री जगदीश चंद्र, भाजपा जिलाध्यक्ष श्री प्रताप बिष्ट सहित अनेक जनप्रतिनिधि, गणमान्य नागरिक एवं स्थानीय लोग उपस्थित रहे।
