रक्षाबंधन पर 11 और 12 अगस्‍त के असमंजस के बीच उत्‍तराखंड में दोनों दिन बहनों ने भाइयों को राखी बांधी। बहनों ने भाइयों की कलाई पर राखी बांधकर उनकी लंबी उम्र की कामना की। भाइयों ने उनकी रक्षा का वचन भी दिया।

इस दौरान मुख्‍यमंत्री पुष्‍कर सिंह धामी (Pushkar Singh Dhami) ने बहनों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि उन्‍हें बहनों की याद आ रही थी, इसलिए वह खुद को रोक नहीं पाए और सीधे दिल्ली से खटीमा पहुंचे। कहा कि बहनों के प्यार की बदौलत ही उन्‍हें यह मुकाम हासिल हुआ है। वह पिछले रक्षाबंधन पर बड़ी संख्या में बहनों से मिले थे।
