बद्रीनाथ मंदिर समिति के अनुसार, मंदिर परिसर को सजाने के लिए विशेष तौर पर मैदानी क्षेत्रों से गेंदे और गुलाब के फूल मंगवाए गए हैं। करीब 12 क्विंटल गेंदे के फूलों से मुख्य मंदिर, द्वार, रास्ते और आस-पास के क्षेत्र को सजाया जा रहा है। दीपावली के दिन सैकड़ों मिट्टी के दीपक और रंग-बिरंगी लाइट्स से धाम को रोशन किया जाएगा।
चारधाम में भी तैयारी जोरों पर
केदारनाथ, गंगोत्री और यमुनोत्री में भी दीपावली के मौके पर विशेष पूजा-अर्चना और दीप सज्जा की तैयारियाँ चल रही हैं। स्थानीय प्रशासन और तीर्थ पुरोहितों की देखरेख में सभी धामों में साफ-सफाई, सजावट और श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा को प्राथमिकता दी जा रही है।
