एनसीआरबी की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक राज्य में हिंसक अपराध हत्या, लूट, अपहरण जैसे मामले बढ़ गए हैं। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार वर्ष 2021 में प्रदेश में 3162 हिंसक अपराध के मामले दर्ज हुए। वर्ष 2022 में 3923 व वर्ष 2023 में 3570 मामले रिकॉर्ड हुए हैं। वर्ष 2023 में पुलिस ने मात्र 58 प्रतिशत मामलों में ही कोर्ट में चार्जशीट दाखिल की। यानी अधिकांश मामले लंबित पड़े हैं।
