कृषि मंत्री जोशी ने उक्त नियमावली को अन्तिम रुप प्रदान करने हेतु सचिव, कृषि को यथाशीघ्र बैठक आयोजित करने के दिए निर्देश।

देहरादून – कृषि मंत्री द्वारा आज अपने कैम्प कार्यालय में सगन्ध पौधा केन्द्र, सेलाकुई के निदेशक एवं वैज्ञानिकों के साथ बैठक की। बैठक में सगन्ध पौधा केन्द्र(कैप), सेलाकुई द्वारा सम्पादित किये जा रहे कृषिकरण, शोध एवं अन्य विकास कार्यों एवं विगत पिछली बैठक में लिए गए निर्णयों पर की गई कार्यवाहियों की जानकारी ली।
बैठक के दौरान कृषि मंत्री द्वारा राज्य के किसानों हेतु आसान भाषा में सगन्ध फसलवार प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम तथा कार्यशालायें आयोजन करने हेतु निर्देशित किया गया। ताकि सगन्ध फसलों के बारे में व्यापक प्रचार – प्रसार द्वारा अधिक से अधिक किसानों को इस क्षेत्र की ओर आर्कषित किया जा सके।
कृषि मंत्री द्वारा उत्तराखण्ड औद्योगिक हैम्प एवं चिकित्सकीय कैनेबिस नियमावली ड्राफ्ट के सम्बन्ध में भी जानकारी प्राप्त की गयी, इस सम्बन्ध में निदेशक, कैप द्वारा विस्तारपूर्वक जानकारी देते हुये, विभिन्न बैठकों के माध्यम से अब तक हुई प्रगति से अवगत कराया गया। कृषि मंत्री द्वारा उक्त नियमावली को अन्तिम रुप प्रदान करने हेतु सचिव, कृषि को यथाशीघ्र बैठक आयोजित करने के निर्देश दिये गये।
निदेशक, सगन्ध पौधा केन्द्र, सेलाकुई द्वारा कृषि मंत्री को अवगत कराया गया कि कैप को ’’इसेनशियल ऑयल एसोसियेशन ऑफ इण्डिया, नई दिल्ली’’ द्वारा 26 से 28 मई तक इन्दौर (मध्य प्रदेश) में आयोजित ‘‘इन्टरनेशनल कॉग्रेस एण्ड एक्स्पो 2022’’ में प्रतिभाग किया गया। उक्त एक्सपो में कैप द्वारा एरोमा सेक्टर हेतु किये जा रहे प्रयासों एवं महत्वपूर्ण योगदान के लिए एसोशियसन द्वारा सगन्ध पौधा केन्द्र को ’’प्रो0 एस0सी0 वार्ष्णेय स्मृति पुरस्कार’’ से सम्मानित किया गया जिसके तहत 50,000/- की धनराशि एवं स्मृति चिन्ह प्रदान किया गया। कैप के सहयोग से संचालित एरोमा कलस्टर ओखलकांडा, नैनीताल के कृषक श्री खिमेश रूबाली को तेजपात कृषिकरण के क्षेत्र में किये जा रहे योगदान को देखते हुए 25,000.00 की धनराशि से सम्मानित किया गया। कैप द्वारा उत्तराखण्ड में पाये जाने वाले विभिन्न सगन्ध खतपतवारों के तेलों का स्टॉल लगाकर प्रदर्शन किया गया तथा एक्स्पो में कैप, सेलाकुई, देहरादून द्वारा इसेनशियल ऑयल उद्योग के क्षेत्र में दिये गये योगदान पर प्रस्तुतीकरण भी दिया गया।
कृषि मंत्री द्वारा इस पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुये कैप निदेशक एवं वैज्ञानिकों को बधाई दी। साथ ही निर्देशित किया कि राज्य में संगध पादपों की कृषि कर रहे किसानों को सम्मानित किया जाए तथा उनकी सफलता की कहानियों को रोल मॉडल के तौर पर प्रचारित – प्रसारित किया जाए। ताकि अधिक से अधिक किसान सगंध पादपों की खेती की ओर आकर्षित हों। क्योंकि इसे जंगली पशुओं से नुकसान का खतरा भी कम होता है और इसे प्रोत्साहित कर हम राज्य की पलायन की समस्या को भी प्रभावी तौर पर नियंत्रित कर सकेंगे।
