खटीमा में हादसा; स्कूल बस की टक्कर से बाइक सवार तीन युवकों की मौत
प्रतापपुर नंबर नौ के पास सामने से तेज गति से आ रही एक निजी बस ने युवकों की बाइक को टक्कर मार दी, जिससे तीनों बाइक सवार युवकों की जान चली गई।
निजी स्कूल बस की चपेट में आने से शुक्रवार शाम बाइक सवार तीन युवकों की मौत हो गई। आरोपी चालक मौके से फरार हो गया। पुलिस ने शवों को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टर्माटम के लिए मोर्चरी में रखवा दिया है। इस दुखद घटना से मृतकों के परिवार में कोहराम मच गया है।
प्रतापपुर नंबर सात, थाना क्षेत्र नानकमत्ता निवासी देवेंद्र सिंह (24) पुत्र उमेश सिंह, राजेश सिंह (26) पुत्र दर्शन सिंह और राजेश सिंह (34) पुत्र पंचम सिंह शुक्रवार शाम करीब सवा चार बजे झनकट से बाइक में सवार होकर अपने घरों को लौट रहे थे। बाइक देवेंद्र चला रहा था। तभी प्रतापपुर नंबर नौ के पास सामने से तेज गति से आ रही नानकमत्ता स्थित एक निजी बस ने उनकी बाइक को टक्कर मार दी, जिससे तीनों बाइक सवार युवक गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए।
घटना का पता चलने पर परिजनों ने तीनों को खटीमा उप जिला अस्पताल में पहुंचाया, जहां डॉक्टर ने तीनों को मृत घोषित कर दिया। घटना से तीनों के परिवारों में कोहराम मच गया। खटीमा उप जिला अस्पताल में तीनों के परिजनों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल था। परिजनों ने बताया कि देवेंद्र और राजेश राज मिस्त्री का काम करते थे, जबकि राजेश पुत्र दर्शन सिंह उनके साथ मजदूरी का काम करता था।
तीनों झनकट से कुछ सामान लेकर बाइक से लौट रहे थे, तभी रास्ते में निजी बस ने उनकी बाइक को टक्कर मार दी। प्रतापपुर चौकी प्रभारी राजेंद्र पंत ने बताया कि शवों को मोर्चरी में रखवा दिया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि आरोपी बस चालक मौके से भाग गया था।
