उत्तराखंड में स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की स्थिति सुधारने के लिए ‘ऑपरेशन स्वास्थ्य आंदोलन’ के तहत देहरादून की ओर बढ़ रहे प्रदर्शनकारियों ने 235 किलोमीटर की यात्रा पूरी कर ली है। उन्होंने घोषणा की है कि 4 नवंबर को मुख्यमंत्री और स्वास्थ्य मंत्री के आवास का घेराव किया जाएगा। आंदोलनकारियों का उद्देश्य राज्य में स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को बेहतर बनाना है।
ऑपरेशन स्वास्थ्य आंदोलन की अलख समूचे उत्तराखंड में जगाने एवं सरकार को चेताने के लिए निकली देहरादून कूच पदयात्रा को जगह जगह लोगों का सहयोग व समर्थन मिलने से पदयात्री उत्साहित हैं। जो पूरे जोश के साथ लगातार आगे बढ़ते जा रहे हैं। अब लोगों के समर्थन से पदयात्रियों का 235 किमी का कठिन पैदल सफर पूरा कर चुके हैं।
पदयात्रा चाैखुटिया से रामपुर, पांडुवाखाल, गैरसैंण, सिमली, कर्णप्रयाग, गौचर, रुद्रप्रयाग, श्रीनगर, नरेंद्र नगर व मलेथा होते हुए शुक्रवार को आठवें दिन देवप्रयाग से आगे कोटियाला पहुंच गई है। पदयात्रियों ने आठ दिन में करीब 235 किमी का कठिन पैदल सफर पूरा कर लिया है और 100 किमी की यात्रा और करनी है। तीन अक्टूबर शाम को यात्रा के देहरादून पहुंचने की संभावना है।
ते 24 अक्टूबर को पदयात्रा यहां आंदोलन स्थल आरती घाट से मुखिया पूर्व सैनिक भुवन कठायत की अगुआई में निकली। जिसे स्थान स्थान पर जनता का भरपूर सहयोग मिलता जा रहा है तथा कहीं कोई कठिनाई व दिक्कतें नहीं आ रही हैं। खाने से लेकर रात्रि पड़ाव की व्यवस्था भी स्थानीय लोग कर रहे हैं। यात्रियों का कहना है कि पहाड़ में स्वास्थ्य की बदहाली से सभी परेशान व त्रस्त हैं। यात्रा तीन नवंबर को देहरादून पहुंचने की उम्मीद है। जहां 4 नवंबर को मुख्यमंत्री व स्वास्थ्य मंत्री निवास का घेराव कार्यक्रम है। इसमें चौखुटिया समेत अन्य क्षेत्रों से लोग वाहनों से देहरादून पहुंचकर सहभागिता करेंगे।
