उत्तराखंड में इगास पर्व की धूम रही। दिल्ली में भाजपा नेता अनिल बलूनी के निवास पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम में गृह मंत्री अमित शाह समेत कई गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने भाग लिया और शुभकामनाएं दीं। महेंद्र भट्ट ने राज्यवासियों से गांवों में इगास मनाने का आह्वान किया, ताकि नई पीढ़ी को इस सांस्कृतिक विरासत का महत्व पता चले।

भाजपा के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष एवं राज्यसभा सदस्य महेंद्र भट्ट ने इगास पर्व की राज्यवासियों को शुभकामनाएं दी हैं। साथ ही पार्टी सांसदों, विधायकों एवं कार्यकर्ताओं और प्रवासी उत्तराखंडवासियों का आह्वान किया कि वे राज्य स्थापना के रजत जयंती वर्ष में गांवों में इगास पर्व मनाकर इसे यादगार बनाएं।
देवभूमि उत्तराखंड में पारंपरिक पर्व इगास (बुधिया बग्वाल) की धूम रही। पूरे राज्य में ग्रामीणों और शहरी लोगों ने अपने-अपने तरीके से इस लोक पर्व को उत्साह और श्रद्धा के साथ मनाया। इस बार इगास की खास बात यह रही कि देश के गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने भी उत्तराखंड की परंपरा में सहभागी बनकर इगास उत्सव मनाया।
गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने सोशल मीडिया पर उत्तराखंड के लोगों को इगास पर्व की शुभकामनाएँ दीं और कहा कि देवभूमि की लोक परंपराएँ भारत की सांस्कृतिक विविधता की सजीव झलक हैं। उन्होंने कहा, “उत्तराखंड की संस्कृति, पर्व और लोकजीवन हमारी प्राचीन परंपराओं की आत्मा हैं। इगास पर्व पर मैं सभी उत्तराखंडवासियों को हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ देता हूँ।”
राज्यभर में इस मौके पर पारंपरिक गीत, नृत्य और लोकभोजन की महक छाई रही। ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में लोग अपने मवेशियों को तिलक लगाकर, पकवान बनाकर और लोकगीत गाकर भगवान बदरी-केदार का आशीर्वाद मांगते नजर आए।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने भी जनता को इगास पर्व की बधाई दी और कहा कि सरकार राज्य की लोक परंपराओं और सांस्कृतिक विरासत को संरक्षित करने के लिए लगातार प्रयासरत है।
