यह विशेष पदक राज्य स्थापना की रजत जयंती (Silver Jubilee) के प्रतीक के रूप में तैयार किया जाएगा और इसमें उत्तराखंड राज्य के चिन्ह, ’25वीं वर्षगांठ’ और पुलिस सेवा के प्रतीक शामिल होंगे। पदक वितरण समारोह 9 नवंबर 2025 को राज्य स्थापना दिवस के अवसर पर आयोजित किए जाने की संभावना है।
राज्य सरकार का यह निर्णय पुलिस कर्मियों के मनोबल को बढ़ाने और उनके योगदान को मान्यता देने की दिशा में एक सकारात्मक कदम माना जा रहा है।
