देहरादून – मालदेवता की वादियों में दो दिवसीय एमटीबी मालदेवता 2025 साइक्लिंग रेस का रोमांच चरम पर रहा। लगभग 300 राइडर्स ने अलग-अलग श्रेणियों में अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन किया। शानदार प्रतिस्पर्धा, दर्शकों का उत्साह और सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों ने आयोजन को अविस्मरणीय बना दिया।
रेस की शुरुवात सुबह 6 बजे जुम्बा से हुई जहाँ सभी प्रतिभागियों ने रेस से पहले सुबह की ठण्ड को दूर भगाया। उसके बाद 6.30 बजे से साइकिल रेस शुरू हुई । मुख्य अतिथि आशीष चौहान, भाजपा प्रदेश मंत्री, ने साइकिल रेस का फ्लैग ऑफ करके रेस की शुरुआत की। सबसे पहले अंडर 14 के बच्चों को छोड़ा गया उसके बाद एक एक करके बाकी सभी कैटेगरी के प्रतिभाओं के रेस की शुरुआत हुई। रेस में सभी 1 किलोमीटर की सीधी सड़क के बाद 3 से 5 किलोमीटर की चढाई का सामना करना था जिसने सभी राइडर्स के मनोबल की परीक्षा ली। चढ़ाई के बाद ढलान भी आसान नहीं था, तेज मोड़ और संकरे रस्ते ने साइकिल रेस को और रोमांचकारी बना दिया।
अंडर 18 को 3 किलोमीटर की चढ़ाई 2 बार और अंडर 23 और एलिट के प्रतिभागियों को 3 बार चढ़नी थी लेकिन बावजूद उसके रेसर ने जिस तरह एक दूसरे को चढ़ाई हो या ढलान पर पोजिशन पाने के लिए अपने प्रतिद्वंदी को कांटे की टक्कर दी।
मुख्य अतिथि उमेश शर्मा (विधायक, रायपुर) ने बच्चों का हौसला बढ़ाया और मेहनत जारी रखने की प्रेरणा दी। वहीँ आचार्य अरुण तेजस्वी (नारायणी सेना अध्यक्ष, सहारनपुर) ने कहा – “अगर आज आप जीत नहीं पाए हैं, तो हिम्मत न हारें, अगली बार प्रयास करें, सफलता जरूर मिलेगी।”
रेस में ग्राम अस्थल प्रधान जयदीप , ब्लॉक प्रमुख सोबन सिंह और किशन सिंह नेगी ने भी खिलाड़ियों का उत्साहवर्धन किया।

रेस समाप्त होने के बाद एमटीबी मालदेवता में प्रतियोगिता के समापन पर सुन्द्रियाल ब्रदर्स की ढोल-दमाऊं प्रस्तुति ने पूरे माहौल को जोशीला बना दिया। सभी प्रतिभागी और दर्शक थिरकने लगे। वहीं गायक नवीन ध्यानी ने अपने गीतों से आयोजन में चार चांद लगा दिए।
