15 अगस्त 2023 को थाना लक्ष्मण झूला SDRF टीम को सूचित किया गया कि लक्ष्मण झूला क्षेत्रान्तर्गत एक होटल S-7 के दोनों तरफ गदेरा आने से 03 लोग होटल में ही फंसे हुए है जिन्हें निकालने हेतु SDRF टीम की आवश्यकता है।
उक्त सूचना पर SDRF टीम उप निरीक्षक सचिन रावत के हमराह मय रेस्क्यू उपकरणों के तत्काल घटनास्थल के लिए रवाना हुई।
SDRF टीम द्वारा त्वरित कार्यवाही करते हुऐ घटनास्थल पर पहुँचकर देखा कि 03 लोग होटल के अंदर है व होटल के दोनों तरफ से गदेरा में पानी आ रहा है, जिस कारण वह लोग होटल से बाहर नहीं आ पा रहे है।
SDRF टीम द्वारा साहस का परिचय देते हुए कड़ी मशक्कत करते हुए रोप रेस्क्यू उपकरणों की सहायता से सभी लोगो को सुरक्षित गदेरा पार कराया व एक अस्वस्थ व्यक्ति को लगभग 04 किलोमीटर लकड़ी की कुर्सी में बैठाकर वेकल्पिक मार्ग से होते हुये मुख्य मार्ग तक पहुँचाया गया।
उक्त व्यक्तियों द्वारा बताया गया कि वे लोग गुजरात राजकोट से अपने एक सदस्य का आयुर्वेदिक इलाज करने आये थे व उक्त होटल में रुके हुए थे, अचानक होटल के दोनों तरफ से गदेरा आ गया जिस कारण वे सभी वही फंस गये। उनके द्वारा सुरक्षित रेस्क्यू किये जाने के लिए SDRF टीम का अत्यंत आभार प्रकट किया गया।

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
