। यूपीएससी परीक्षा में देहरादून के विजय कॉलोनी निवासी हिमांशु सामंत को 348 रैंक हासिल करने और बद्रीनाथ कॉलोनी निवासी नेहा प्रजापति ने उत्तराखंड बोर्ड से कक्षा 12वीं में 92.60 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त कर प्रदेश के नाम रोशन किया है। कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने दोनों प्रतिभावान विद्यार्थियों को शॉल ओढ़ाकर सम्मानित किया और उनके उज्वल भविष्य की कामना की।
गौरतलब है कि यूपीएससी परीक्षा में मसूरी विधानसभा के अंतर्गत देहरादून निवासी हिमांशु सामवंत ने 348 रैंक हासिल कर देहरादून के साथ ही प्रदेश के साथ ही प्रदेश का नाम भी रोशन किया है। ज्ञात हो कि हिमांशु सामंत वर्तमान में उत्तर प्रदेश के शामली में तहसीलदार पद पर तैनात हैं। जिसके बाद हिमांशु ने कड़ी मेहनत की बदौलत यूपीएससी परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण कर राज्य का नाम रोशन किया है। वहीं देहरादून निवासी नेहा प्रजापति के पिता जी मजदूरी का कार्य करते है। नेहा ने 12वीं कक्षा में 92.60% अंक हासिल कर परिवार वालों के साथ ही प्रदेश का मान भी बढ़ाया है। मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा आज बेटियों हर क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ रही है। उन्होंने प्रतिभावान विद्यार्थियों को बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएं भी दी।
इस अवसर पर हिमांशु सामंत के पिता जनक सामंत, मण्डल अध्यक्ष प्रदीप रावत, डॉ बबीता सहोत्रा, मनजीत रावत, पार्षद सतेंद्र नाथ, ओम प्रकाश बवाडी सहित कई अन्य उपस्थित रहे।
