प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि केन्द्र एवं राज्य की बीजेपी सरकार का पूरा जोर विकास के नवरत्नों पर है। पहला रत्न- केदारनाथ-बद्रीनाथ धाम में 1300 करोड़ रुपए से पुनर्निर्माण का कार्य, दूसरा रत्न- ढाई हजार करोड़ रुपए की लागत से गौरीकुण्ड-केदारनाथ और गोविंदघाट-हेमकुण्ट साहिब रोपवे का कार्य, तीसरा रत्न- कुमायूं के पौराणिक मंदिरों को भव्य बनाने के लिये मानसखण्ड मंदिर माला मिशन का काम, चौथा रत्न- पूरे राज्य में होम स्टे को बढ़ावा। पांचवा रत्न- 16 ईको टूरिज्म डेस्टिनेशन का विकास, छठा रत्न- उत्तराखंड में स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं का विस्तार। उधमसिंह नगर में एम्स का सेटलाइट सेंटर भी बनाया जा रहा है। सातवां रत्न- करीब 2 हजार करोड़ रुपए की लागत वाली टिहरी लेक डेवलपमेंट परियोजना। आठवां रत्न- ऋषिकेश-हरिद्वार का एडवेंचर टूरिज्म औऱ योग की राजधानी के रूप में विकास और नौवा रत्न- टनकपुर-बागेश्वर रेल लाइन। इस रेल लाइन पर भी जल्द काम शुरू हो जाएगा।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा कि इन नवरत्नों की माला को पिरोने के लिए, इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर के जो प्रोजेक्ट यहां चल रहे हैं, उन्हें भी धामी जी की सरकार ने नई ऊर्जा दी है। 12 हजार करोड़ रुपए की लागत से चारधाम महापरियोजना पर तेज गति से काम हो रहा है। दिल्ली देहरादून एक्सप्रेसवे तैयार होने से देहरादून-दिल्ली के बीच सफर और आसान हो जाएगा। रोड कनेक्टिविटी के साथ ही, रोप-वे कनेक्टिविटी के लिए भी उत्तराखंड में बड़े पैमाने पर काम हो रहा है। पर्वतमाला योजना आने वाले दिनों में उत्तराखंड का भाग्य बदलने जा रही है। इसके लिए जिस कनेक्टिविटी का उत्तराखंड के लोगों ने बरसों इंतजार किया है, वो इंतजार भी हमारी सरकार समाप्त कर रही है।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा कि ऋषिकेश-कर्णप्रयाग रेल परियोजना दो-तीन साल में पूरी हो जाएगी। 16 हजार करोड़ रुपए से ज्यादा खर्च इस योजना के पीछे किए जा रहे हैं। ऋषिकेश कर्णप्रयाग रेल प्रोजेक्ट पूरा होने के बाद उत्तराखण्ड का एक बड़ा क्षेत्र राज्य के लोगों और पर्यटकों के लिए सुगम हो जाएगा। इससे यहाँ निवेश, उद्योगों के विकास, रोजगार के नए-नए अवसर बनेंगे। और देवभूमि पर विकास के इस महाअभियान के बीच, अब ये वंदे भारत ट्रेन भी उत्तराखंड के लोगों के लिए एक भव्य उपहार साबित होगी।
