उत्तराखण्ड श्री अन्न (मिलेट) महोत्सव के तीसरे दिन के कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ करते पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री भगत सिंह कोश्यारी, पर्यावरणविद डा0 अनिल जोशी और उत्तराखंड के कृषि मंत्री गणेश जोशी*

। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मिलेट वर्ष के उपलक्ष में कृषि विभाग उत्तराखण्ड द्वारा देहरादून में आयोजित उत्तराखण्ड श्री अन्न महोत्सव 2023 के तीसरे दिन कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में महाराष्ट के पूर्व राज्यपाल एवं उत्तराखण्ड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री भगत सिंह कोश्यारी तथा विशिष्ट अतिथि के तौर पर पर्यावरणविद डा0 अनिल जोशी ने प्रतिभाग कर शुभांरभ किया। इस अवसर पर महोत्सव में उपस्थित सभी अतिथियों ने मिलेट्स पर आधारित विभिन्न स्टालों का निरीक्षण किया। कृषि मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने सभी अतिथियों का पहाड़ी टोपी, शाल और पुष्पगुच्छ देकर स्वागत किया।

कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि और प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री भगत सिंह कोश्यारी ने कहा कि मुझे यहां आकर सबसे अच्छा यह लगा कि यहां के स्टॉल बहुत सुन्दर हैं और सभी स्टॉलों पर महिलाओं ने इसका प्रतिनिधित्व किया। उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी का आभार जताया कि उन्होंने इसे श्रीअन्न का नाम दिया। उन्होंने अपने गांव की याद ताजा करते हुए कहा कि बचपन में मुझे गेहूं की रोटी मिलती थी और मेरी बहनों को मड़ूवे की रोटी, जिस कारण मेरा पेट हमेशा ही खराब रहता था और आज भी है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह मातृशक्ति के लिए बहुत ही अच्छा अनाज है और इसके लिए हमारा पहाड़ी क्षेत्र बहुत उपयोगी है। उन्होंने कहा कि माणा और गूंजी में सिर्फ मोटा अनाज की पैदा होता है। उन्होंने कहा कि महाराष्ट राजभवन में मैंने सिर्फ मड़वे के बिस्कुट अनिवार्य कर दिये थे ताकि सभी को उत्तम स्वास्थ्य मिले। उन्होंने कृषि मंत्री ने अपेक्षा की कि उत्तराखण्ड में भी मड़वे के बिस्कुटों को अनिवार्य किया जाए ताकि इसका प्रचार-प्रसार सहित उत्तम स्वास्थ्य मिल सके। उन्होंने कहा कि आंकड़ों पर बात न करते हुए मैं यह अनुरोध करुंगा कि कृषि और बागवानी की ओर आप सभी को अग्रसर होना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश के किसानों को सशक्त करना हमारी प्राथमिकता होना चाहिए। उन्होंने नया नारा देते हुए कहा कि कौंदा-झिंगौरा खाऐंगे, आत्मनिर्भर उत्तराखण्ड बनाऐंगे।
कार्यक्रम के विशिष्ट अतिथि पद्मश्री एवं पद्मभूषण डा0 अनिल जोशी ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड प्रदेश की तरक्की के लिए सिर्फ खेती-बाड़ी ही एक अच्छा साधन है और इसके लिए एक नये सिरे से सोचने की आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने कौंदा-झिंगौरा खाऐगे, पहाड़ी राज्य बनाऐंगे के नोर को दोहराया। उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी का आभार प्रकट करते हुए कहा कि मैं प्रधानमंत्री मोदी का आभार प्रकट करता हॅू कि उन्होंने इसे श्रीअन्न का नाम दिया। उन्होनें कहा कि मिलेट और माइनर फसलों के लिए उत्तराखण्ड विश्व स्तर पर प्रख्यात है। उन्होंने कहा कि जापान वाले भी मानते हैं कि उत्तराखण्ड का मोटा अनाज बेबी फुड के लिए अत्यधिक फायदेमंद है क्योंकि इसमें प्रचुर मात्रा में केल्शियम है। उन्होंने कृषि मंत्री को कार्यक्रम के लिए बधाई दी।कृषि मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने अपने संबोधन में कहा श्री अन्न उत्तराखंड की परंपरागत खेती में है। श्री अन्न स्वास्थ्य की दृष्टि से इतना लाभदायक है कि जो कभी गरीबों का खाद्यान्न हुआ करता था, आज अमीरों की थाली में शामिल हो गया है। जोशी ने कहा श्री अन्न के प्रोत्साहन और उसके प्रचार-प्रसार के लिए प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के नेतृत्व में लगातार विशेष प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। राज्य में स्टेट मिलेट मिशन के अंतर्गत 73 करोड़ रूपए की बजट में प्रावधान किया गया है। कृषि मंत्री ने मडुंवा, झिंगौरा जैसी फसलों को पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में बढ़ावा देकर कृषकों की आर्थिक स्थिति में सुधार के लिए भी विभाग के संकल्प को दोहराया।
इस अवसर पर कृषि निदेशक गौरीशंकर, ग्राम्य विकास आयुक्त आनन्द स्वरुप, जिला पंचायत उपाध्यक्ष दीपक पुण्डीर, आदित्य चौहान, जोगेन्द्र पुण्डीर ज्योति कोटिया, वीर सिंह, प्रदीप पाण्डे, विवके उपाध्याय, मोहम्मद असलम, अपर निदेशक केसी पाठक, संयुक्त निदेशक दिनेश कुमार, जैविक उत्पाद परिषद के एमडी विनय कुमार सहित कई अन्य अधिकारी एवं प्रदेश के सभी जनपदों से आये हुए कृषक भाई-बहन उपस्थित रहे।
