मुख्य सचिव डॉ. एस.एस. संधु ने नैनीताल के तीन दिवसीय भ्रमण के दौरान शनिवार को नैनीताल मे बलियानाला में हो रहे भूस्खलन स्थल का संबंधित अधिकारियों के साथ स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण के दौरान लोनिवि विभाग के चीफ इंजीनियर संजय शुक्ला ने बलियानाला ट्रीटमेंट कार्य हेतु अब तक शुरू की गई कायावाही से मुुख्य सचिव को अवगत कराया।
मुुख्य सचिव ने आश्वस्त किया की शासन स्तर बलियानाला ट्रीटमेंट के संबंध में जो भी कार्यवाही की जानी है, उन्हें प्राथमिकता के आधार पर शीघ्र पूरा किया जाएगा ताकि विशेषज्ञों की रिपोर्ट के आधार पर योजनाबद्ध तरीके से ट्रीटमेंट कार्य शुरू किया जा सके।
इसके उपरांत मुख्य सचिव ने भवाली रोड स्थित टीबी सैनिटोरियम अस्पताल का निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण के दौरान ओटी कक्ष, स्टाफ, एव भर्ती मरीजों एव दवाइयों की जानकारी ली।
वरिष्ठ चिकित्सा अधिकारी डॉ शशि बाला ने बताया की वर्तमान में 42 टीबी मरीज भर्ती हैं जिनमें से कुछ मरीज उत्तर प्रदेश से भी अपना उपचार कराने के चिकित्सालय मे भर्ती हैं।
इस अवसर पर डीएम धीराज सिंह गर्ब्याल, एडीएमएम अशोक कुमार जोशी, सीएमओ डा0 भागीरथी जोशी के साथ ही सम्बन्धित अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
