कृषि मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कास्तकारों के हित को ध्यान में रखते हुए उत्तराखण्ड कृषि उत्पादन विपणन बोर्ड के समस्त कारोबार को आनलाइन के साथ-साथ आफलाइन मोड पर भी स्वीकार्य करने के निर्देश दिये। मंत्री ने कहा कि फल-सब्जी सहित गल्ले के कार्यो से जुड़े कारोबारियो को आनलाइन प्रक्रिया का समुचित ज्ञान न होने के कारण इस प्रक्रिया के साथ-साथ आफलाइन मोड में भी मण्डी का कारोबार होगा। इस बाबत कृषि मंत्री ने मण्डी परिषद के प्रबंध निदेशक को दूरभाष पर आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिये।

बुधवार को देहरादून में आलू फल आढ़ती व्यापारी एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष केसी जोशी ने अपनी पॉच सूत्रीय मांग को लेकर कृषि मंत्री गणेश जोशी से उनके कैम्प कार्यालय में भेंट की। जिसके बाद मंत्री ने मण्डी परिषद के अधिकारियों को इस बाबत समाधान के लिए निर्देशित किया। एसोसिएशन के पदाधिकारियों ने मण्डी कारोबार को आफलाइन करने, 1964 के मण्डी अधिनियम के पप्रत्र 6आर में संसोधन, उत्पादकों के माल को व्यापारी के विक्रय स्थल पर नोट करने की व्यवस्था में सुधार का अनुरोध किया।
इसके अतिरिक्त, एसोसिएशन ने अनुरोध कि कि हल्द्वानी मण्डी में सप्ताह में एक या दो दिन पंतनगर विश्वविद्यालय के वैज्ञानिक बैठें, जो कास्तकारों की समस्याओं को हल करने का काम करेंगे। इस बाबत भी कृषि मंत्री ने पंतनगर विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति को कार्यवाही के निर्देश दिये।
इस अवसर पर लालकुआं विधायक डा0 मोहन सिंह बिष्ट, एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष केसी जोशी, महामंत्री दीपक, भुवन चन्द्र तिवारी, जीवन कार्की, देवानन्द सिध्वी आदि उपस्थित रहे।
