देहरादून – कृषि एवम सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने देहरादून के गढ़ी कैंट में छावनी परिषद देहरादून एवम् वाल्मीकि मंदिर टपकेश्वर समिति गढ़ी कैंट द्वारा निर्मित भारत रत्न डॉ.भीमराव अंबेडकर जी की मूर्ति का अनावरण किया।


इस अवसर पर काबीना मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि डॉ. भीमराव बाबा साहेब अंबेडकर एक महान विचारक थे, उन्होंने समाज में सबको समान अधिकार दिलाने के लिए अपना जीवन समर्पित किया। उन्होंने सामाजिक भेदभाव को दूर करने और समानता का सिद्धांत लागू करने के लिए भारतीय संविधान का मार्ग चुना। डॉ. अंबेडकर ने समाज से अश्पृश्यता एवं कुप्रथाओं को मिटाने, समरसता स्थापित करने और पिछड़े तबके को मुख्यधारा में लाने में अहम भूमिका निभाई है। कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि डॉ.भीम राव अंबेडकर ने अपने विचारों से कभी समझौता नहीं किया, डॉ. अंबेडकर का महिला सशक्तिकरण पर अतुलनीय योगदान रहा है, उनकी सभी उपलब्धियाँ, समाज उत्थान के सभी कार्यों के पीछे उनकी सकारात्मकता है।
