ऋषिकेश – बीते दिन शुक्रवार को भारी बारिश के कारण मुनिकीरेती-ढालवाला, तपोवन में प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का कैबिनेट मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल ने निरीक्षण किया। मौके पर उपस्थित आला अधिकारियों को उन्होंने यहां लॉंग टर्म के लिए शीघ्र बेहतर ड्रेनेज सिस्टम का प्लान तैयार करने हेतु निर्देशित किया।
गौरतलब है कि बीते दिन को हुई भारी बारिश के कारण मुनिकीरेती-ढालवाला, तपोवन क्षेत्र में जगह-जगह पानी का सैलाब सा उमड़ गया था। आलम यह रहा कि यहां सड़कें पानी व मलबे से लबालब हो गई। निकासी न होने के कारण कई घरों के भीतर भी पानी घुस गया। इस कारण स्थानीय लोगों के संग यहां बाहरी लोगों को भी खासी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ा। शनिवार को कैबिनेट मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल राजस्व, वन, पालिका, सिंचाई, लोक निर्माण और एनएच विभाग के आला अधिकारियों के संग यहां भारी बारिश के कारण हुए प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का निरीक्षण का निरीक्षण करने पहुंचे। जिसके बाद उन्होंने आला अधिकारियों को शीघ्र ही मुनिकीरेती-ढालवाला क्षेत्र में लॉंग टर्म के लिए बेहतर ड्रेनेज सिस्टम का प्लान तैयार करने के लिए कहा। कैबिनेट मंत्री ने बताया इससे यहां बरसाती दिनों में जमा होने वाले पानी की समस्या से क्षेत्र को निजात मिलेगी, प्लान तैयार होने के बाद शीघ्र इस योजना पर कार्य शुरू करवाया जाएगा। इस दौरान कैबिनेट मंत्री ने आपदा से बचाव एवं सुरक्षा हेतु एसडीआरएफ की टीम को पर्याप्त संसाधन उपलब्ध कराने हेतु भी निर्देशित किया।
