मंगलवार को मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने सचिवालय में सिंचाई विभाग की समीक्षा बैठक के दौरान अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि किसानों के हितों को ध्यान में रखते हुए योजनाएं बनाई जाए। जनपदों में मुख्य विकास अधिकारियों की अध्यक्षता में समिति का गठन किया जाए। जिसमें कृषि एवं उद्यान विभाग के अधिकारी भी हों। सिंचाई एवं लघु सिंचाई विभाग कृषि एवं उद्यान विभाग के साथ समन्वय से कार्य करें। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि सभी विभागों को 2025 तक बेस्ट प्रैक्टिस के तौर पर धरातल पर क्या कार्य कर सकते हैं एवं अगले 10 सालों का रोडमैप बनाने के निर्देश दिये गये हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि सिंचाई विभाग को पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में विशेष ध्यान देने की जरूरत है। पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में लोगों की आजीविका बढ़ाने के लिए बागवानी पर अधिक ध्यान देने की जरूरत है। 5 सालों में राज्य की जीडीपी को दोगुना करने के लिए सभी विभागों को तेजी से कार्य करने होंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि सौंग एवं जमरानी बहुद्देशीय परियोजना पेयजल एवं सिंचाई की दृष्टि से राज्य के लिए महत्वपूर्ण परियोजनाएं हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि सौंग बांध पेयजल परियोजना की अवशेष स्वीकृति संबंधी कार्य शीघ्र पूर्ण कर लिए जाएं। उन्होंने सिंचाई विभाग के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि यह सुनिश्चित किया जाए कि परियोजनाओं में विलम्ब न हो, यदि कहीं कोई समस्या आ रही है, तो ऐसे मामले उच्च स्तर पर लाये जाएं। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि कोलीढ़ेक, थरकोट झील एवं गगास जलाशय का निर्माण कार्य शीघ्र पूर्ण किया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सुनिश्चित किया जाए कि योजना पूर्ण होने की जो अवधि निर्धारित की गई हो, उस अवधि में वह पूर्ण हो। मुख्यमंत्री ने निर्देश दिये कि ब्लॉक स्तर पर एक-एक गांव में पॉयलेट बेस पर स्प्रिंकलर आधारित सिंचाई की जाए।
