मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि रोटरी क्लब सेवा, सहायता एवं समर्पण का पर्याय बन चुका है और समाज सुधार में बेहतर कार्य कर रहा है। ऐसी संस्थाएं जब भी आगे आकर जनहित में काम करती हैं तो और अधिक तेजी से सामाजिक विकास होता है। उन्होंने कहा कि अपने लिए कोई भी जी सकता है, परन्तु अच्छा जीवन वह है जो दूसरों के लिए जिया जाये। समाज एवं देशहित में काम करने वाला व्यक्ति लम्बे समय तक याद किया जाता है।
शुक्रवार को मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने जनपद ऊधमसिंहनगर में रामनगर रोड स्थित होटल अनन्या में रोटरी क्लब द्वारा आयोजित कन्याश्री कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ करते हुए कहा कि रोटरी क्लब ने निःस्वार्थ सेवाएं देने व समाज को आगे बढ़ाने का काम किया है। रोटरी क्लब राज्य की 25वी वर्षगांठ तक के लिए कोई न कोई लक्ष्य निर्धारित कर कार्य करें ताकि उस कार्य को पूरे विश्व में रोटरी क्लब नज़ीर के रूप में पेश कर सके। कार्यक्रम में मुख्यमंत्री ने कक्षा 9 से 11 तक की 200 बालिकाओं को साइकिल वितरित की गई।
उन्होंने 117 वर्ष के इतिहास में पहली बार किसी महिला के रोटरी क्लब का अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष बनने पर जेनिफर ई.जोन्स के साथ ही रोटरी क्लब के सभी पदाधिकारियों व सदस्यों का देवभूमि उत्तराखण्ड में स्वागत करते हुए बधाई दी।
उन्होंने कहा कि रोटरी क्लब के डिस्टिक गवर्नर पवन अग्रवाल की यह वास्तव में एक अच्छी पहल है। इससे रोटरी क्लब भारतवर्ष में पहचान बना रही है। उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि आगे भी रोटरी क्लब इसी तरीके के कार्य करता रहेगा। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि जो छात्राएं काफी दूर से पैदल चलकर स्कूल आती है उनके लिए क्लब ने एक बहुत अच्छी शुरुआत की है, इससे छात्राओं का आत्मविश्वास बढ़ेगा, समय की बचत होने के साथ कि उनकी पढ़ाई में भी रूचि रहेगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने बेटियों के मान-सम्मान एवं मातृ शक्ति के उत्थान हेतु हरियाणा से शुरू की गई बेटी बचाओ-बेटी पढ़ाओ योजना आज पूरे देश में चल रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि देश को स्वस्थ एवं स्वच्छ रखना सभी का दायित्व है। स्वच्छ भारत अभियान के अन्तर्गत औपचारिकता न करते हुए सभी को अपनी दैनिक आदतों में बदलाव लाते हुए देश को स्वच्छ एवं स्वस्थ रखने में योगदान करना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि हमें स्वच्छता सम्बन्धित आदतों को पीढ़ी दर पीढ़ी संस्कार के रूप में देना होगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य के सर्वांगीण विकास हेतु 10 साल का रोड मैप तैयार हो।
राज्य जब अपनी 25वी वर्षगांठ मना रहा होगा तब राज्य सभी क्षेत्रों में देश का सर्वश्रेष्ठ राज्य होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य में समान नागरिक संहिता लागू करने के लिए पूर्व जज रंजन प्रकाश देसाई की अध्यक्षता में समिति का गठन किया गया है जोकि सभी हितधारकों से बात करने के साथ ही जनता से संवाद करने के बाद अपनी रिपोर्ट देगी। उन्होंने कहा कि मानस मन्दिर माला योजना के अन्तर्गत कुमाउं के मन्दिरों का सौन्दर्यकरण एवं विस्तार किया जा रहा है।
उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार पारदर्शी एवं भ्रष्टाचारमुक्त सुशासन के प्रति कटिबद्ध है। राज्य में भ्रष्टाचार को किसी भी दशा में बरदाश्त नहीं किया जायेगा। राज्य में भ्रष्टाचार पर सीधे वार हेतु 1064 नम्बर जारी किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि कोई भी व्यक्ति भ्रष्टचार से सम्बन्धित शिकायत दर्ज करा सकता है, शिकायत दर्ज कराने वाले व्यक्ति का नाम और पहचान गोपनीय रखी जायेगी। इसके तहत 8 से ज्यादा व्यक्तियों पर कार्यवाही हो चुकी है तथा अनेक शिकायतें सर्विलांस पर हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि आने वाले समय में पर्वत माला श्रृंख्ला के अन्तर्गत हेमकुण्ड साहिब सहित राज्य के 35 स्थानों पर रोपवे की सुविधा मिलने वाली है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस बार चारधाम यात्रा एवं पर्यटन सीजन पिछले सभी रिकोर्ड तोड़ने वाला है।
उन्होंने कहा कि इस बार कावड़ यात्रा में 4 करोड़ से अधिक शिव भक्तों के पहुॅचने की संभावना है, कावड़ में आने वाले शिव भक्तों का देवभूमि में स्वागत है। उन्होंने कहा कि यात्राएं सरल, सुगम एवं सुरक्षित हो। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने राज्य सरकार द्वारा किये जा रहे विभिन्न विकास कार्यों एवं योजनाओं के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी।
इस अवसर पर रोटी क्लब के डिस्ट्रिक्ट गवर्नर पवन अग्रवाल ने बताया कि रोटरी क्लब की विश्व के तमाम देशों में शाखाएं हैं। 1905 में रोटरी क्लब का गठन हुआ। क्लब के डिस्ट्रिक्ट गवर्नर पवन अग्रवाल ने बताया कि 117 वर्ष के इतिहास में पहली बार कोई महिला कनाडा जेनिफर लोन रोटरी की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष बन रही है। इसी को देखते हुए देशभर में महिलाओं के लिए कन्या श्री योजना के तहत साइकिल वितरण का कार्यक्रम हो रहे हैं। पूरे देश में 2100 छात्राओं को साइकिल वितरित की जा रही है। छात्राओं को कक्षा नौ से कक्षा 11 तक की छात्राओं को साइकिल का वितरण किया जा रही है। छात्राओं का चयन सरकारी व विद्या भारती से किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि कि रोटरी क्लब का उद्देश्य है कि अधिक से अधिक छात्राओं को शिक्षित किया जाये। उन्होंने बताया कि आगामी अक्टूबर माह में छात्राओं को शैक्षिक सहायता के इलैक्ट्रानिक टेबलेट वितरित किए जायेंगे।
